I offer high-quality piano lessons for all ages and levels in Berlin.
Styles include Classical, Jazz, Improvisation, Songwriting, Ear Training, and Music Theory.

I completed my musical education under Maestro András Schiff at the Barenboim–Said Akademie and have over 10 years of teaching experience.
My approach focuses on helping you become your own best teacher at the piano: developing strong listening, healthy technique, and practical tools to solve musical challenges. Playing should feel fun, natural, and effortless — and we will build that together.

Lessons are available to anyone, from motivated beginners to advanced players.

I teach piano and keyboard skills with a friendly and encouraging approach. My students learn technical exercises and pieces/songs carefully chosen to suit each individual and I also incorporate relevant music theory. I teach on an upright acoustic piano at my place in Wedding and in some cases travel to the student for lessons.

I teach adults of all levels!

I often mentor people who are just starting out, helping them develop their interest in the instrument and play the music they love.

A lot of students come in with anxiety about how good or fast they're going to be able to learn. I work to build a respectful, supportive environment where you feel comfortable developing and learning at your own pace.

For intermediate and advanced students, I teach with a particular focus on fundamental technique through études, and developing musicality.

Oftentimes, as hobbyists, we have holes from our early studies that prevent us from developing later in life. My aim is to help correct that. You should leave with renewed confidence to tackle pieces that have intimidated or eluded you in the past.

I am an experienced and enthusiastic guitar tutor from Leeds, England, living in Berlin. I have a bachelor’s degree in jazz guitar from Leeds College of Music although I also play and teach rock, pop, funk, folk, and indie music.

In lessons, I aim to get students to play something they know as soon as possible in order to get excited about progress early on. We balance this with paying attention to proper technique and having one eye on the theory behind what we are playing to broaden your understanding of how music works.

I am actively engaged in playing within the music scene and have a real excitement for all types of music, whether it’s learning your first chords on guitar or working on improvisation or music theory. We'll go at the right pace for you and achieve your goals together.

I have experience teaching all ages and abilities of students, having taught in primary and secondary schools as well as private tuition for adults. From complete beginners to preparing a student for their college auditions.

I am a trained jazz drummer (Bachelor of Music, HfMT Hamburg, final grade 1.0), taught for many years at the Neumünster Music School (Schleswig-Holstein) and was a lecturer for percussion major at the Academy of the Hamburg Conservatory for one year.
