Piano Lessons for beginner and intermediate level students

Piano Lessons for beginner and intermediate level students

Are you willing to learn how to play the piano? In this class, you can learn how to play this incredible instrument, as well as develop music theory knowledge such as reading scores, basic harmony, and rhythm. You will also learn how to develop your own musical ideas and find a personal way to express them! Students of all ages can contact me to follow private lessons live in Brussels or Antwerp or online (via Zoom). I am a classical/jazz-trained pianist and composer who graduated "magna cum laude" with a Master's degree in Composition at the Royale Conservatoire of Antwerp. As a pianist and music teacher, I have several years of experience in private and public schools in Italy and I'm now teaching at the Royale Conservatoire of Antwerp. I am familiar with the classical and jazz repertoire as well as with 20th and 21st-century music. I'm passionate about introducing this beautiful and exciting field of art and its related knowledge. If you don't have any music experience or if you already know music and want to develop or study a particular argument, my classes focus on the construction of a personalized study trajectory and methods based on the level, interests, and expectations of the student! The most important thing for me is to keep creativity and interest always stimulated for you to develop or continue to grow your love for music!

From K-culture to real conversations: Learn Korean the fun way

From K-culture to real conversations: Learn Korean the fun way

Learn Korean the way it’s really spoken, and discover the culture behind every word. 🇰🇷 📚 How my lessons work Each lesson follows a clear textbook structure, so you always know where you are and what comes next. We work on speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary, at your own pace. Complete beginners start with Hangul, the Korean alphabet, which you can learn to read within a few lessons. 🎵 Learning with K-pop I create my own worksheets based on K-pop songs, with vocabulary, grammar points, example sentences and exercises. It’s a fun way to learn real, everyday Korean and to finally understand what your favourite songs are saying. 💼 Korean for work and exams I’ve worked in Korean public institutions and in diplomatic and cultural settings, so I know the Korean that’s actually used at work: formal speech and honorifics, emails, meetings, presentations and networking. If you need Korean for your job, we’ll focus on the situations you’ll really face. I also help students prepare for TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean), with practice tests, exam strategies and targeted grammar and vocabulary. 📱 Support between lessons After each lesson, you get a short recap, plus homework and quizzes on WhatsApp to keep practising during the week. For younger students, parents receive a summary in English so they can follow their child’s progress. 🎬 Monthly culture session (optional) Once a month, we take Korean out of the classroom. We might watch a Korean film, see a performance, visit an exhibition, cook Korean food together or go to a Korean market. We learn the vocabulary beforehand, use it for real during the activity and review it afterwards. Tickets and ingredients are not included. 👥 Who this class is for Complete beginners curious about Korea K-pop and K-drama fans who want to understand without subtitles Children and teenagers Adults preparing for a trip, a move or work in Korea Professionals who need Korean for business or diplomatic work Advanced learners and students preparing for TOPIK 📍 Format All levels, from complete beginner to advanced. Online or in person in Brussels. Lessons are taught in English. Feel free to send me a message to tell me about your goals. I’ll be happy to build a lesson plan around you! 😊

“ My experience with Johann enabled me to better and fully understand some concepts from fundamentals of Options and Futures. Johann provided me with background knowledge and in depth explanations behind theories and formulas. This allowed me to better understand how to carry out complex calculations, and apply required mathematical concepts to an exercise. In addition he successfully helped me solving Excel cases about derivatives, binomial trees, Black Scholes model and Greek calculations. I am truly satisfied from having had Johann as my tutor, through 5 engaging online meetings. I can only recommend him to you ! ”

“ I really recommend katja for your violin classes!!! She's a very good teacher. Katja has a rich background in music and is able to adapt the class according to the level of the student. Her explanations and corrections to evolve are concreet and very well done, which makes things easier to understand. She makes you love music and violin. She has a good time notion and makes the hour of the class efficient as she makes you work on different things. She's also a very nice person! Enjoy your class with katja :) ”

“ We are truly grateful for the care and dedication that Yas brings to her teaching. She is not only highly knowledgeable in her subject, but also incredibly warm and pedagogical in her approach. Our daughter, who is naturally shy and introverted, has felt safe, seen, and encouraged during the lessons. We would not hesitate to recommend her to other parents and students. ”
