Advanced, upper-intermediate or specialist English: for those aiming to reach a high levelTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Do you need to improve your English so that you can participate fluently and confidently in business meetings, presentations, webinars, telephone conversations or interviews? You may be aiming for a job in the EU institutions or other organisations in Brussels. Or you could be working in an international company or studying for a Masters or another qualification... I have been a qualified, professional English teacher and translator for more than 20 years. My courses enable learners to actively produce the language, repeat useful expressions until they are habitual and correct mistakes until they are removed. Although I am happy to explain and practice grammatical issues, the focus is on effective, correct and appropriate communication by using visual material, videos, interesting topics for discussion and challenging quizzes. As I have advanced knowledge of French, German and Czech, I can particularly appreciate and correct the issues speakers of these languages have in English, but this is also the case for Dutch speakers. There is also the possibility of specialist English courses in the areas linked to my experience (see below): how the EU works; environmental, energy, regional or agricultural policies; economics. - Advisor in EU policies and funding for 12 years (regional policy, economic development) - Director of a regional representation to the EU and member of a management team - Certificate in TESOL with business - BA(Honours) in Modern Languages & Modern History, Oxford University - Post-graduate in Economics, London University

Learn Spanish with a Native Speaker – Practical and Cultural ApproachTranslate this text using Google Translate.

¡Hola! I'm a native Spanish speaker based in Brussels, and I offer classes tailored to your needs and goals. Whether you’re a complete beginner or want to improve your fluency, I can help you with conversation, grammar, vocabulary, or exam preparation. My teaching style is practical, friendly, and well-structured because I believe learning should be both effective and enjoyable. I tailor each lesson to your personal goals and needs, creating a relaxed and supportive space where you can feel comfortable practicing and making mistakes — after all, that’s how real progress happens! I use a variety of engaging methods like interactive exercises, real-life conversations, multimedia resources, and personalized feedback to keep our classes lively and motivating. This way, you’ll build confidence and improve steadily at your own pace. What makes my classes truly special is how I weave in elements of Hispanic culture. Language and culture go hand in hand, so we’ll explore traditions, music, food, holidays, and everyday customs from different Spanish-speaking countries. This not only makes learning more fun and authentic but also helps you understand the language in real-life contexts. Together, we’ll create a rich and meaningful learning experience that prepares you to speak Spanish with confidence and joy.

Piano lessons open to everyone! Maastricht, The NetherlandsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Private Piano Lessons – Open to Everyone in Maastricht and around! I offer private piano lessons to students of all ages and levels. I am a Lithuanian pianist and a recent graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Alongside my international concert and competition experience, I have over three years of teaching experience, working with students from age 6 to adulthood and from a variety of cultural backgrounds. For me, teaching is about much more than learning the notes. Every student has a different way of thinking, learning, and expressing themselves, so I always adapt my lessons to the individual. I value curiosity, mutual respect, open communication, and creating an environment where students feel supported and encouraged to develop at their own pace. Since 2026, I have also been studying Psychology at Maastricht University. This has deepened my interest in how we learn and has naturally become part of my teaching. I believe that psychological awareness, self-reflection, and creativity are just as important as technical skills. My goal is to continue exploring the intersection of psychology, music, and education, bringing together scientific and artistic perspectives on learning. I welcome complete beginners, those returning to the piano after a break, and advanced pianists looking to deepen their musicianship. The repertoire, methodology, and pace of the lessons are always tailored to your goals, interests, and level of commitment. Alongside piano playing, I also teach music theory and harmony, helping students build a broader understanding of music and develop lasting musical independence. Lessons are available in English and French.
