Support can also be provided in learning organizational skills, research, and mini projects for older children. I am available to help with studying, homework, or school projects. For online learning, I use a variety of platforms, websites, educational games, and e-books to reach the learning goals of my students. Additional homework can be provided if requested.

I am an Italian native speaker with a bachelor in Italian Literature and Linguistics. In Italy, I usually teach English to high school students, or adults who want to improve their skills with this language.
Usually, I tend to use a non-academic approach, by focusing on the student's interests and make him/her applying the language to their everyday life, instead of simply learning the grammar rules by heart.

I am a professional English teacher with over 8 years experience in various teaching roles. I have experience of teaching all ages from 3 up to 65+ in group classes or 1-on-1. Specific purpose teaching such as public speaking or business English also taught.

I offer online or face-to-face English lessons to non-native speakers. I work with the student to identify learning objectives and any areas of weakness and tailor the lesson accordingly. Areas covered during the lesson include, speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar accent reduction.

I grew up in New Zealand and lived there for 6 years. Additionally, I received a one-year scholarship to study in the USA, which means I speak English as good as a native speaker. I have taken English classes in primary, middle, and high school. I have also taken English Literature classes and Presentation Speaking classes in English. During my final year of high school, taking the International Baccalaureate Program and English B at Higher Level, I received a 7 (highest grade) on my final oral exam and a 7 on my final written exam. I believe English is the international language of the world and is a basic tool of the 21st century. However, at times, it may seem complex. I believe teaching through having discussions is the best way to learn. My name’s Tom, and I’m an English teacher from southeast England, based in the Hague, Netherlands. I teach English learners how to communicate more clearly.

I have taught for various schools and agencies in the Netherlands and been frustrated by the lack of high-quality materials and expertise in the pronunciation teaching field. So in 2021 I set up my freelance teaching business to change the situation.

I have over 12 years of teaching experience, and I have a master's degree in Linguistics from Leiden University, specialising in methods for teaching English pronunciation. I am trained in speech analysis software, which is a highly effective (and fun!) tool that helps learners not only hear but also visualise their mistakes.

I speak Finnish (my mum's side is from Finland), Mandarin Chinese (I lived in Taiwan for six years) and French (because I love the sound of it). Hi I am 21 years old and am currently a student at Leiden University doing a bachelor of sciences in environmental sustainability. I completed my A levels in Maths, Physics and Biology with grades A in Maths and Biology. I also did an AS level in Chemistry from the British School in the Netherlands.
