Have you ever felt native Japanese sounds so different from Japanese you learn in a textbook? My lessons provide Japanese learners with an opportunity to learn and speak casual Japanese which native Japanese, especially young people use in everyday life. So, the lessons focus more on fluency than grammar which also help you to pronounce Japanese naturally. Any levels of Japanese learners are welcomed.

Each of us is unique so after you tell me your needs we can work towards your objectives, as a team. Maybe you feel comfortable using a book or perhaps you prefer conversation and games. A friendly relaxed atmosphere helps and is good for both of us, unless you particularly need pressure to simulate an exam or workplace situation. Having also worked in Industry and Commerce in England, I can appreciate the various scenarios ! English is my mother tongue and I have a British sense of humour, so this combined with my experience and your desire to learn will be a recipe for your success !

I'm an experienced ESL Instructor in Tokyo. I provide lessons based on each student's needs, such as conversational English, business English, TOEIC/TOEFL test prep, etc. I always ask my students what their main objectives are for taking English lessons, and try to tailor my lessons to suit their needs.
