Hi! I am Harshitaa. From September 2018, I will be starting university at TU Delft. I will be doing starting my bachelors in computer science and engineering. I have just completed my IB diploma in May. I took these subjects; Physics HL Math HL Economics HL Chemistry SL English Lang Lit SL Dutch SL These are the subjects that I am willing to teach. I have tutored Economics and English beforehand, but this is my first time officially doing it on this website. This is because prior to this year, I was focusing on my own academic performance, and knew that I wouldn't have been able to help other students to my utmost ability. I have also done many workshops at Dutch high schools in order to help the students with their English. I am an extremely motivated teacher and will put in as much time and commitment as I possibly can. I have also taken part in many extra university programs(especially math and engineering related) and am more than happy to share what I learned with you. I love playing basketball and dancing as well. I am an extremely friendly and easy going person, so don't hesitate to ask any questions! I am originally from the US, but can speak some Dutch as well.

Hello, my name is Zeynep! I am a mathematician with a doctoral degree. After completing my postdoc, I am currently focused on acquiring new skills while continuing to teach. Teaching has always been my passion throughout my academic career. I have 16 years of experience, starting with private tutoring for school children during my undergraduate studies and eventually teaching at the university level to a diverse range of students. I am capable of teaching at all levels, from elementary concepts to specialized topics. In Turkey, I guided many high school students through their International Baccalaureate (IB) programs, helping them gain admission to highly prestigious universities in the UK, Italy, and Switzerland. Some of these students later became colleagues, pursuing academic careers themselves—a gratifying experience! I currently work in the Netherlands with students from various backgrounds, including HAVO students who follow the Dutch curriculum, international students enrolled in the IB program, and high school or bachelor's students from around the globe, all engaging in remote learning. I am also learning Dutch and am currently at an A2 to B1 level. I teach in English while incorporating Dutch terminology to enhance clarity. My experience has shown that the language barrier can easily be overcome when it comes to math. For example, I recently helped a student improve their grade from 5.8 to an impressive 8.4 in just five months. At the higher education level, I have taught several calculus courses (both single and multivariable) and linear algebra for students in engineering, natural sciences (biology, physics), computer science, and administrative sciences. Additionally, I have taught more theoretical courses for mathematics students, such as set theory, real analysis, linear algebra, and number theory. My approach is customized to meet your specific needs while ensuring you fully understand the concepts, methods, and reasoning involved. Together, we will work on improving your ability to identify logical patterns and find solutions within the framework of your curriculum. I am here to support you in achieving your academic goals, whether it is for assignments, tests, or presentations. Feel free to contact me for a meeting if you are seeking assistance with your math learning. Let's see if we can find a good match!

Mastering English at a proficiency level is a useful skill for everyone around the world. With my expertise in English and teaching English, I will help you achieve your language goals. I have been teaching ESL for 6 years now and I know how to tailor the lessons and materials for each individual student. I know what most students struggle with when it comes to English grammar or writing an essay and I have learnt to explain the material in such a simple manner so that the students can have a full understanding of the information. The practical approach during the lessons helps students get ready not only for the exams but also for the stress during exams. Progress tests given after each material assess student's understanding of the information discussed. The classes are designed for students ranging from "pre-intermediate" to "advanced". Based on your specific requirements, we will be studying English grammar, vocabulary, writing and listening skills, will be preparing for the exams, IELTS, Business English, just Speaking or everything mentioned. You will have a clear understanding of the material and will be given extra exercises to practise at home. I conduct lessons in English, Russian or Armenian, preferably on Skype, as I believe it is a very convenient format of education nowadays. Should you have any questions regarding the educational process - just ask me! I am here to help you improve your English skills and acquire the desired qualifications.

English and Mathematics A are exam subjects at Havo. Often these subjects are considered difficult, while with the right strategy, both should not be difficult. That's why I decided to tutor students in havo 5 so that they can get good marks on their exams. I am motivated to get the best out of all students and to make a lot of progress. My goal is not only to have the student get a 5.5, but a 7 or 8. Of course I can't give any guarantees, but, if you take extra lessons you have a good chance of success ;)

As a university graduate economist, I have been supporting students for years who need support to perform adequately. I provide the support by reading, understanding and explaining the issues of economics together, but usually also by adapting the study method so that the student can continue independently with more self-confidence after some time and also start performing better for other subjects. The tutoring starts first on location, the webcam can later be used additionally.

I am a spanish native speaker that wants you to learn in a fun and practical way. I believe that learning a language should be affordable and suited for everyone’s individual needs, in an environment where the students participates in their own learning. I believe in the teaching method of the great Paulo Freire, in which he proposed that the old “banking teaching”, where a student only memorize, is obsolete. I believe in the “critical learning”, where the students really try to understand what are they learning.
