Hi! I'm Monika and I come from Poland. I have studied English philology and have a few years experience in tutoring back in Poland. Teaching brings me a lot of joy, I love working with my students and help them to make progress in English language. In my classes I will approach you individually, we will focus on areas which are the most challenging for you, e.g. grammar, pronunciation, speaking, reading, listening, etc. After each lesson my student will receive a homework assignment.

Hello parents! My name is Sandra. I am a native English speaker from New York State. I have a USA teaching license and a Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Inclusive Education (Grades K-6 and Students with Disabilities) from the State University of New York at Fredonia. My experiences include teaching at primary international schools in Belgrade, Serbia for 2 years and 3 years at international schools in The Hague, Netherlands. Lessons are provided to children and teenagers. Lessons are customized to the learning needs of your child. Whether that be learning English for the first time or practicing improvement of speaking, reading, comprehension, pronunciation, listening, writing, grammar, etc. Lessons can be aimed towards learning a topic such as food, animals, sports, emotions, and more.

For children who are fluent English speakers, tutoring can be given to further excel in particular areas. Subjects that interest the student such as science, history or world topics can be incorporated into the lesson to broaden their knowledge. Support can also be provided in learning organizational skills, research, and mini projects for older children. I am available to help with studying, homework, or school projects. For online learning, I use a variety of platforms, websites, educational games, and e-books to reach the learning goals of my students. Additional homework can be provided if requested.

I am a native Russian speaker and can teach Russian to English speakers. I can help you to practice grammar, speaking, pronunciation, listening, writing skills. Also can help with learning Russian from the scratch, starting with the alphabet.

During my lessons, I primarily teach my students not to be afraid to speak Russian. Before classes, I plan topics on which we can talk to expand our vocabulary, and be able to maintain a conversation on a variety of topics.

Also, classes are held in a communication format, so that students learn to understand Russian speech, to be able to ask the questions, reflect on the topic, etc.

Depending on the needs of the student, we study the fundamental grammar rules, which are most important for grammatical speech. To consolidate the material, we do various exercises and tests. Usually, these are texts with gaps that need to be filled. We also do oral exercises so that students can apply grammar rules not only in written assignments but also get used to applying them directly in their speech (which is sometimes a problem because we used to forget some rules in our spoken language).

Since Russian phonetics is quite complicated, I also select various exercises for diction, adapting them for each student (which is always a lot of fun).

My name’s Tom, and I’m an English teacher from southeast England, based in the Hague, Netherlands. I teach English learners how to communicate more clearly.

I have taught for various schools and agencies in the Netherlands and been frustrated by the lack of high-quality materials and expertise in the pronunciation teaching field. So in 2021 I set up my freelance teaching business to change the situation.

I have over 12 years of teaching experience, and I have a master's degree in Linguistics from Leiden University, specialising in methods for teaching English pronunciation. I am trained in speech analysis software, which is a highly effective (and fun!) tool that helps learners not only hear but also visualise their mistakes.

I speak Finnish (my mum's side is from Finland), Mandarin Chinese (I lived in Taiwan for six years) and French (because I love the sound of it). I also know smatterings of other languages like Dutch, Spanish and Japanese. I am an English language nerd and will happily talk your head off about why British people say "wa'er", what “muscles” have to do with mice, or why English spelling is so beautifully bizarre. Hi I am 21 years old and am currently a student at Leiden University doing a bachelor of sciences in environmental sustainability. I completed my A levels in Maths, Physics and Biology with grades A in Maths and Biology. I also did an AS level in Chemistry from the British School in the Netherlands.

I love science and geography and did my primary education in English and got all grade 9s in my science and geography GCSEs and a grade 8 in Maths.
