Maths & English tutoring - Master's student in Actuarial Science (Lyon)

From 48 C$ /h

Hello! My name is Hong Anh, and I'm a Master's student in Actuarial Science at ISFA (Claude Bernard University Lyon 1), a very mathematically focused program. I'm also bilingual in Vietnamese and English (C1 level). I've been tutoring middle and high school students in mathematics and English since 2021.

My belief: a good lesson is not about giving the answers, but about making the student autonomous. I first identify their difficulties, then I guide them with questions so that they can reason and correct their own mistakes, at their own pace and in an atmosphere of trust.

In mathematics, I cover the entire middle and high school curriculum (calculus, functions, differentiation, geometry, probability, etc.). In English, I work on grammar, comprehension, and expression, using materials adapted to each student.

Patient and punctual, I adapt to both middle and high school students as well as adult beginners. Don't hesitate to contact me: I would be delighted to help you develop better study methods, confidence, and independence!

A graduate student in philosophy, I propose to give classes of support to any student in need, from kindergarten to Terminale (indicative level), in French, English, history, philosophy. These courses can take the form of intensive preparation for the exams for the certificate or the baccalaureate, but also homework, or refresher, or more simply a way to reconnect with a discipline.

I have already given private lessons in French (preparation for baccalaureate) the last three years, which have been the opportunity for me to train myself to several types of students, adults, foreigners, adolescents, disabled public. I wish to teach at the end of my studies, that's why I enter a master's degree in philosophy. I am passionate, serious, quite demanding, and I have recent experience of my studies and my schooling. I know how to adapt to everyone's difficulties, and to introduce my students to skills they did not suspect at home.

Mathematics is an exciting subject, as useful for scientific studies as curiosity (why not?). However, it can be difficult to move with ease if you are alone.

In this course, high school / high school students will be able to deepen their knowledge and solidify sensitive points. You can choose to have your classes in English or French without having to stay in one of the two languages.

Currently licensed language in LEA Lyon 3, I offer an English course! I speak english fluently.
I give a vocabulary list of ten words to learn for the next class!

English is a language that is used all over the world, it is a language that is not necessarily indispensable in a certain sense, but it is often very popular, especially in the world of work. This language is also very useful when traveling in any country, English is a good way to communicate with others.

I offer here a beginner English grammar course and some vocabulary. This course is for children between 7 and 14 years old.

I have a degree in mathematics at Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University. I did two years of preparatory classes and mathematics are my passions (17/20 at the bac). I was in scientific option math terminal.
It is with pleasure that I will share my knowledge of mathematics in Lyon. I can go to your place.

Graduate teacher offers courses in English or Spanish, or helps with tutoring with individualized pedagogy. I like to focus on the needs and interests of the student and to advance the student. I can also work individually or in teams.

Having obtained the Scientific Baccalaureate with the mention "Très-Bien" in 2017 specialty mathematics, I am admitted to the lycée of the Park of Lyon in scientific preparatory classes PC. Loving the exact sciences and logic, I want to give private lessons to convey this love to my little brothers and sisters.

I give the student wishing to take my courses the opportunity to choose freely the course of the sessions: revisions, deepening or anticipation on the program of the next year.

For ambitious students, I can commit to offering them free overtime.

Master 2 International Marketing Tourism & Hospitality Management student. Thanks to many student and professional experiences abroad, I propose to accompany the students in their discovery and learning of the English language.

Nowadays, speaking languages other than the mother tongue tends to become the norm.
I am lucky to have fluency in English and Spanish and I want to share it with others. I have a C1 level in both languages (TOEIC and DELE) and have just returned from 6 months of travel to Peru, where I was able to develop professional language skills.
French is my mother tongue.
I try to offer an individualized pedagogy taking into account the capacities, needs, objectives and availability of each.

Do not hesitate to contact me !

This course is for students who wish to advance in English, Arabic or maths during the summer, review last year's courses or prepare for next year.
We will review the program together, with more practice than theory. For languages we will concentrate, according to the needs of the pupil, on oral and written.
The program will be flexible, once again depending on the student's needs and availability.
I periodically provide progress reports, and a summary of the day's course after each session.
If you are a beginner, don't worry! We will move forward at the pace that suits you.

I am a final year student at a major engineering school in the electronics, IT and telecommunications sector. I am currently looking for a student job that would allow me to apply the skills acquired during my training.
Thanks to my background, I think that I would be of excellent help to students in preparatory classes wanting to integrate the major schools (engineering or business) in the areas in which I have always excelled, computer science and mathematics.

I help with homework, re-explain lessons, do application exercises.
My goal is to make the student progress without overloading him. I give homework between two lessons so that the concepts covered are not forgotten.
I adapt to the needs and level of the student.
I am reassuring, calm and patient.

I want to help students of all ages who may experience difficulties in math and French in schools by offering them a follow-up allowing them to progress.

I also offer French lessons to foreign adults.

I am a 4th year student at the University Claude Bernard in Lyon1 in a master's degree in plant biology. Even if my path tends towards the world of plants, I did a first year in Mathematics and Physics-Chemistry at the University of Angers which I validated.
In my course, we will consolidate the basics of each subject in order to then be able to deepen, without difficulty, the elements and notions that you did not understand in class.

You are high school, middle school or elementary school student and you have difficulties or you want to understand more about math, electrical engineering, electronics or IT (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, programming in R, C, Python) , do not hesitate to contact me for this.
