The design of my lessons is varied, follows current scientific findings on language acquisition and implements the demands of modern foreign language didactics in teaching practice. I pay particular attention to the following aspects: Development of communicative and pragmatic language skills through a systematic, progressive development of linguistic skills and in particular through the active use of language. Courses for adults, children and travelers who either want to travel to Tanzania, simply learn the language or want to get involved with the language. Various topics are discussed and everyday language is practiced. Experience shows that you can learn to understand a new language better and more easily through dialogues and discussion opportunities. Goals: Learn new expressions and the art of language, discuss various topics and learn vocabulary, use grammar, independently form simple sentences, conduct simple dialogues, deal with current topics and discuss them. Furthermore, the ability to conduct dialogues and understand what is being said should be achieved.

The following class is dedicated to helping students to keep up with the rigorous demands of the IB program. Having obtained 44 points in this program myself, I attempt to pass on my knowledge and motivate students to fulfil their full potential. These classes are focused on both content revision, which is structured according to the official IB Syllabus to ensure that we cover all revision points - this is key to making sure that you are not at all surprised by the questions on your IB Exams! I also have full list of past IB Exam questions to help you develop strong exam-taking skills, and familiarise you more with the types of questions you will receive in your exams. The IB is a very specific and unique program. Oftentimes, tutors provide you with information about the subject in general, rather than an IB-focused look into the particular subject. Hello, my name is Pia and I'm a flautist. :) I started learning the flute at the age of 8. I loved it right away, so after music school, I continued my studies at the conservatory in Maribor (Slovenia). I then studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. In 2024, I completed my bachelor's degree at the Gustav Mahler Private University in Klagenfurt. There, I earned a degree in concert performance and a degree in instrumental pedagogy. During my studies, I also completed a specialization course in early music, majoring in transverse flute. Therefore, I also offer lessons for beginners on this beautiful baroque instrument. During my studies, I had several private students with whom I explored the sounds of the flute and various genres (classical, pop, jazz, folk music, improvisation, etc.). My lessons are relaxed and communicative, full of collaborative music-making. Classes can also take place online. Mathematics is my passion, but I know its not for everyone. Sometimes the material is covered badly in school or at Uni, sometimes you just missed something or do not understand a concept. Whatever the reason might be, my goal is to teach you the material in such a way, that eventually you'll learn how to comprehend new concepts on your own. During my tutoring I focus on explaining the material in an extensive fashion, so that while solving excercises you develop a connection to the concepts and ideas. Thus not learning a specific "way" of solving a problem, but rather gaining an intuition for it. One experienced method, which might not be met with the biggest enthusiasm, is extra problems which I would like you to solve at home. I know it is an extra workload, but nothing comes for free. The excercises will be tailored to you and give you the extra needed repetition of the material.
