About Me

My name is Ana, I'm a Georgian flutist - based in Vienna. started playing flute at the age of 13. Graduated Tbilisi Z.Paliashvili Central Music School in 2013. Since that I continued my studies in Tbilisi state conservatoire. During my studies I won the Erasmus scholarship twice, which gave me a possibility to study in the Royal academy of music Aarhus/Aalborg (Denmark) and in Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. From 2019 I became the principal flute of Giya Kancheli Youth Orchestra. Since 2022 I joined Georgian opera studio as a principal flute. During this time I was participating in the orchestra projects - as well as chamber music projects in different cityes of Germany and Italy. I started teaching in music school in 2018. I'm a hardworking person and always aks the same to my students/pupils. Along with hard work, my classes are full of positivity and energy, I try to balance fun and discipline. I love my job very much and for me the most important is the result which can be achieved with an individual approach to student. I myself studied with the best flautists in the world, took their teaching methods and practiced them for years.

I loved it right away, so after music school, I continued my studies at the conservatory in Maribor (Slovenia). I then studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. In 2024, I completed my bachelor's degree at the Gustav Mahler Private University in Klagenfurt. There, I earned a degree in concert performance and a degree in instrumental pedagogy.
During my studies, I also completed a specialization course in early music, majoring in transverse flute. Therefore, I also offer lessons for beginners on this beautiful baroque instrument.
During my studies, I had several private students with whom I explored the sounds of the flute and various genres (classical, pop, jazz, folk music, improvisation, etc.). My lessons are relaxed and communicative, full of collaborative music-making.
Classes can also take place online.
