About Me

Teodor is a professional concert accordionist.
He completed his bachelor's degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich and is currently pursuing a master's degree at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna. Even at a young age, he collaborated with renowned orchestras such as the Madrid Symphony Orchestra and the Munich Philharmonic.
He participated in numerous masterclasses and seminars with some of the best accordion professors from Germany, France, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Denmark, Great Britain, Lithuania, China and other countries, thereby continuously expanding his musical knowledge and skills.

This course is for anyone from complete beginners to advanced students, from lessons that focus completely on classical music to lessons that include or focus on the basics of jazz/pop. If you like to sing, we can also work on the basics of jazz/pop vocal, so you can learn to accompany yourself at the piano.
In our lessons, technique will be an inherent part of the training, as well as analysis, basic music theory, and efficient ways of practicing music. If that all sounds good to you, then please reach out to me and we can start ASAP!

So who am I?
In a nutshell, I am a professional pianist, vocalist, lyricist and blogger. Since 2014, I have taught in various music schools, teaching piano, ensemble, jazz vocal, and solfege.
On a more elaborate note, I obtained my Master of Arts in classical piano, summa cum laude, at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent (KASK) in 2017, and studied as a Fulbrighter at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington USA during the 2019-2020 academic year.
Every day, I strive to become a better musician and person, and I aim to transfer that passion to my students.

In my music lessons (piano or accordion) there is a freer learning approach, from listening to playing - making music without notes! - an important part. Right from the start, we try to play simple, familiar melodies on the instrument and, in a second step, to accompany them. Classical playing according to notes, music theory and training of dexterity are, as in music school, further elements of the practical lessons. As an accordion teacher, I also teach on the Internet.

In November 2023 she was awarded the 2nd prize at Soutěž Nadace Bohuslava Martinů, further she won f. e. the 1st prize at the “Broumov key”, the 2nd prize at the Ile-de-France international competition in Paris and the 2nd prize at the Fryderyk Chopin international competition in Mariánské Lázně. In December 2022, she received the title of laureate at the Prague Conservatory's international competition “Young Piano”, where she was also awarded the main prize "Young Piano Talent". In 2021, she won 2nd prize and a special prize for her interpretation of Stravinsky/Agosti's Firebird (1st prize not awarded) in the international competition Virtuosi per musica di pianoforte, 3rd prize in the international competition Bach's Way in Dobřany and 3rd prize in the Brno ́s piano competition.
In the year 2020, she was awarded the "Pilsen ́s Orfeus'' award for representing the Pilsen region in the field of classical music, namely for the 3rd prize in the “Broumov key” competition. She has performed with several orchestras in the Czech republic. In the season 2024/2025 she performed with Janáčkova Filharmonie in Ostrava as a soloist of the first Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto.
