I hold British and French nationalities and speak both languages (and Spanish). I am specialised in teaching French as a foreign language (literature and grammar). I am a very adaptable and enthusiastic person. I have a TEFLA certificate (for teaching English) and a CEFLE certificate (for teaching French). I have worked in different organisations, such as the Alliance Française (Cusco, Peru), ARA ( Geneva) and given private lessons to adults, adolescents and children. I am familiar with the Swiss and French education systems. I am very curious and like to discover new cultures and to share mine. I like to go to concerts and the opera. I have good language and teaching skills and can provide recommendations on request. Thanks Anastassja

My goal is to help the student to progress in the subjects which pose a problem to him by insisting on the obstacles which he meets.

I am used to working with children, having myself a 9-year-old little brother, nevertheless my level is quite suitable for more mature students

I know how to adapt to the needs of the student and rely mainly on books or documents from my own courses or elsewhere, and which I find to be very effective for anyone with difficulties in German, English or French. In addition, I particularly enjoy writing theory sheets.

I offer repetitive English and German lessons, according to your school program or simply by wanting to develop in these languages.
Having obtained my gymnasium maturity certificate in June 2020, I have an intermediate level B1 in these two languages with a small advance on English. I have vocabulary in both languages very favorable for improvement in the language we work.

I was introduced to Chinese calligraphy from an early age through my family's long-standing tradition and cultural heritage. This foundation allowed me to develop a deep appreciation for Chinese calligraphy as both an art form and a reflection of Chinese culture, history, and philosophy.

For the past eight years, I have been teaching Chinese calligraphy in Switzerland to students ranging from 4 years old to adults, from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. My classes focus not only on handwriting techniques but also on cultivating an understanding of the rich cultural traditions behind the art.

I was introduced to Chinese calligraphy at a very young age thanks to the long tradition and cultural heritage of my family. This foundation allowed me to develop a deep admiration for Chinese calligraphy, both as an art form and as a reflection of Chinese culture, history, and philosophy.

得益于家族悠久的传统和文化遗产,我从小便接触中国书法。这一基础使我能够深领略中国书法作为一种艺术形式,以及作为中国文化、历史和哲学的体现所蕴含的深厚价值。

过去八年来,我在瑞士教授中国书法,学生年龄从4岁到成年人不等,来自多元的文化和语言背景。我的课程不仅注重书写技巧,更致力于培养学生对这门艺术背后丰富文化传统的理解。

Do you understand English but hesitate when it’s time to speak? Do you find yourself translating every sentence in your head or worrying about making mistakes?

My personalised English lessons help you build the skills and confidence to communicate more naturally—in everyday life, at work, and in social situations.

We work on what matters to you:

Speaking confidently and keeping conversations flowing
Understanding spoken English and expanding your vocabulary
Improving pronunciation, grammar, and sentence structure
Communicating at work, in interviews, or during presentations
Feeling more comfortable using English when travelling or living abroad

Each lesson is adapted to your level, interests, and goals. Through meaningful conversations, practical activities, and clear feedback, you’ll practise using English in situations you actually encounter.

As an English teacher and coach who has lived in London, Paris, Geneva, and Zurich, I understand how vulnerable communicating in another language can feel. My approach is warm, encouraging, and practical, with space to ask questions, make mistakes, and progress at your own pace.

You don’t need perfect English to have something worth saying. Let’s help you say it with confidence.

Book a lesson and tell me what you’d like English to make possible for you.

As a law student at Oxford University, I understand the importance of clear explanations, critical thinking, and self-confidence in learning. I offer private tutoring in English, mathematics, and humanities in a supportive, dynamic environment tailored to each student's needs, abilities, and goals.

My teaching method
I am convinced that effective learning relies first and foremost on a genuine understanding of concepts, rather than simply memorizing them. My lessons are interactive, encouraging, and adapted to each student's pace, with the aim of making difficult subjects more accessible and engaging.

I break down complex concepts into simple steps, use concrete examples, and encourage students to ask questions and develop their own reasoning.

My goal is not only to improve their academic results, but also to help them gain confidence, independence and a love of learning.

What sets me apart
I am currently a law student at New College, University of Oxford, where my studies require strong analytical, writing, and reasoning skills.

I also have an excellent level in mathematics, having achieved the maximum grade of A* in the GCSE Advanced Mathematics, an exam which I took a year early.

I combine academic rigor with a warm and accessible teaching approach. Aware that each student learns differently, I strive to create a reassuring environment where everyone feels free to ask questions, make mistakes, and progress at their own pace.
