I'm here to tell you that if you're looking for an English teacher, I'm best for the job. I'm American, from New York (Manhattan), but my family has been in Geneva for a while. Over the past seven years, I have graduated from Collège du Léman, and also studied at Harvard, and Pace University.

I have a lot of experience teaching children, having coached basketball for children ages 8 to 14 for four years. Very adaptable, I can work according to the schedule that suits you best.

Graduated with CELFLE / CELTA diploma, I have teaching experiences with adults also with children.

Whatever the level and situation of the student, I adapt to the needs, wishes, objectives while delivering my own expertise and approach in order to identify possible gaps and focus on points to work as a priority.

Serious, caring, motivated, involved, pedagogue and punctual, I am very involved in the success of each of my students to allow them to progress and am available to answer their questions or those of their parents even outside the hours of course. I have been teaching for more than 20 years in Geneva(Organizations/Group courses/Preparation for Delf etc..) at all levels and for the past years I have specialized in Survival modules and exam preparation for Fide exam( required for permit B/ C and citizenship) Usually I come to student's home and we have 1 or 2 lessons of 1h30 peer week depending on their needs and focus..As I am teaching between Geneva and Nyon, I am more in favor of meeting the students at their home.

I am a Belgian (Flemish) and French student with a Masters in International Public Law (Amsterdam) and a Masters in Global development (University of Copenhagen). World traveler, I have lived in Thailand, Denmark, Greece, the Netherlands, US, Switzerland and many more countries, where I both dtudies and worked as a legal advisor.

I have been tutoring since 2017, both in person, in schools and online, since 2017, I have been working with around 250 students, located everywhere in the world! Here is an overview of my previous tutoring experience:

2022-Now:

2023:
Tutor of Dutch at Varady Language school in Geneva

2021-2022:
I worked at "bijlesthuis," a Dutch tutoring institution, where I primarily taught French, Dutch, and English to adult learners seeking to improve their language skills. During the same period, I also provided classes to other students through Apprentus.

2021:
Through Apprentus and other websites, I assisted several younger students (ages 5-15) in Bern and Geneva, helping them improve their skills in subjects such as Maths and French.

2017-2020:
I worked for three years at a tutoring institution in Geneva called ARA, where I primarily taught French, Mathematics, and English.

During this time, I also spent two years working at a private school called Florimont, where I supported students aged 11-16 across various subjects by assisting them with their homework.

I can teach French, Dutch, and English, Spanish and in German, and I thoroughly enjoy teaching and assisting students in their progress and acquisition of new skills.

As a person, I am flexible, calm, and positive.
