Hello, fellow guitarists!
My name is Francesco Bindella, and I am a flamenco guitarist. I lived in Spain for more than ten years and studied at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Córdoba, where I connected with some of the leading figures in contemporary flamenco.
My approach to flamenco guitar combines the depth of tradition with a broader musical perspective, embracing styles such as jazz, Brazilian music, and the classical repertoire.
ONLINE LESSONS VIA ZOOM
Lessons are preferably held on Zoom, allowing you to learn from the comfort of your home through a practical, personalized approach.
My goal is to help you develop your technique, rhythm, and interpretation in a clear, accessible way, whatever your starting level!

Topics covered:
-Personalized exercises tailored to your level and needs.
-Technical development: alzapúa, picado, three-finger picado, thumb technique, arpeggios, rest-stroke arpeggios, rasgueados, classical tremolo, flamenco tremolo, finger independence in both hands, slurs, hand stretches, and more. These exercises help you gradually master the movements and build speed. Many are exercises I have developed myself or learned over the years directly from great masters through masterclasses and private lessons, or through their former students. These include material from Manolo Sanlúcar, Gerardo Núñez, Andrés Batista, Niño de Pura, Juan Manuel Cañizares, José María Bandera, Manuel Cano, Rafael Moreno, José Antonio Rodríguez, Antonio Rey, and others.
-Compás and palmas: flamenco rhythm and handclapping, with and without the guitar.
-Progressive study of all the flamenco palos, exploring both their rhythmic and harmonic foundations.
-An introduction to accompanying flamenco singing and dance.
-Applying flamenco guitar techniques to the classical repertoire.
-Jazz harmony applied to the guitar.
-Classical guitar: repertoire and interpretation across different styles and historical periods, preparation for conservatory exams, and more.
Lessons are open to everyone, from beginners to advanced guitarists looking to deepen their understanding of flamenco.
