About Me

I have been passionate about languages since I was a child, when I first started learning English. French and German came later, and since then, languages have always been an important part of my life.

My first experience with official language certifications came through the Cambridge exams, which I completed progressively from A2 up to the Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE). My result also included recognition of Proficiency (C2) level in all the written components of the exam. I have also passed the TOEFL exam twice, once for university admission and once to take part in an international exchange programme. As for French, I have also taken part in the DELF examination programme organised by the Alliance Française.

My teaching experience began during my university years, while I was studying a bilingual double degree in Law and Economics. During that time, I started teaching English to students with a wide range of needs and backgrounds, from students looking for school support to those preparing for Cambridge and TOEFL exams.

During those years, I also had the opportunity to teach Spanish to international students, working with learners of different ages and levels. These experiences made me realise that, besides learning languages myself, I genuinely enjoy teaching them and helping other people improve.

While at university, I also took part in an international exchange programme at Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada. This experience allowed me to use English in an academic and international environment and consolidate my language skills in real-life situations. I continue to develop my language skills and gain further experience as a teacher.

As a result, my own experience as a learner of several languages has given me first-hand insight into the difficulties and needs that can arise during the learning process. I believe this is particularly useful when adapting lessons to each individual student.

I currently teach English and Spanish, both in person in Torre del Mar and the surrounding area and online, working with students of different ages, levels and goals.

I am patient and methodical as a teacher, but I also believe that language learning should be dynamic and practical. For this reason, my teaching approach is flexible: I adapt materials and exercises to each student's needs and objectives, combining practical communication with clear grammar explanations and more structured exercises whenever necessary.
