Classical Singing, Musical Theatre & Piano Lessons with Emily 🎶 Vocal Coach | Multilingual Educator | ABRSM & Trinity Exam Specialist Hi! I’m Emily, a classically trained singer from Hong Kong, currently in my fourth year of the Bachelor’s programme in Voice at the Utrecht Conservatorium. With 8 years of vocal training and a strong love for performing, I’m passionate about helping others experience the joy of music. I’ve been teaching for over 4 years, working with students from age 4 to adults, both individually and in small group settings. I also teach music classes for children at an international school, and I specialize in creating engaging, age-appropriate lessons that build both skill and confidence. In addition to classical singing, I also teach Musical Theatre — combining healthy vocal technique with expressive performance — and piano at beginner to intermediate levels. I hold an ATCL Diploma in Singing from Trinity College London and ABRSM Piano Grade 8, and I’ve helped students succeed in ABRSM and Trinity exams, often with Merit or Distinction. 🎵 Lessons are in person and take place at the student’s home — ideal for those who prefer a familiar and comfortable learning environment. Lessons are always tailored to the student’s goals, whether for leisure, performance, or exams. I teach in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. 📩 Interested in learning music in a fun, flexible, and encouraging way? Feel free to reach out — I’d love to hear from you!

The guitar lessons are partly theory and partly practice. During the first guitar lesson I first look at the starting level. This is different for each guitar student. You can follow guitar lessons for both the acoustic guitar and the electric guitar. With electric guitar lessons, developing your own sound using guitar effects is also part of the guitar lesson.

I know my students' potential. With my communicative support, I helped them pass an exam successfully. I began teaching as a private lecturer in 2018, working with my students and test takers (A1 to C2) to gain the best possible knowledge based on my basic concepts. I have a holistic philosophy in my work as a German teacher. I emphasize that every single student needs to take a step back to reciprocate. I reduce the time I spend on each client's temporary assignment. I spend a lot of time on a communication package that requires practical user experience. My role is to ensure that my students are authenticated and confident in their ability to speak German, even in the professional world. Cultural aspects must be integrated into this to offer a person who values the German language a culture they prefer. Through active action, critical thinking, and individual consideration, I strive to recognize the full potential of each student and then accompany them on the path to success. If that's not the case, don't read it. That's my philosophy: Enjoy your time. Learning German is the most important thing! Neem Vandaag Nog Kontakt met me the night we met.
