I have 12 years of teaching experience, mostly from London. I am actually a qualified Educational Psychotherapist but would like to keep teaching where possible and enjoy meeting new people and having good conversation.

This is a conversational class so you should expect relaxed but meaningful conversations with me. All levels of English are welcome, I can easily tailor to suit your needs. I will be honest so that I can help you to improve but non-judgemental. I will also be patient and allow you lots of time to find your words and sequences.

I will speak at a good pace to ensure you understand me and give time for you to take notes if you choose too.

In our classes, we will spend time getting to know one another. Students are encouraged to suggest topics for conversation otherwise we will discuss the UK and British culture.

I will also be highlighting common phrases and idioms in our conversations that are not always easily understood.

As majority universities are leaning towards English as the primary source of instruction in Istanbul, I feel it is important to have full command over the language. I have studied English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Psychology under the Cambridge Assessment International Education and have secured A’s and B’s in both my Ordinary and Advanced Level Exams. I had a 3.4 GPA in university.

My Biology, Chemistry, Physics and BILET test preparation classes will include detailed discussions of topics as well as solving examples and queries/homework questions.

English language seems difficult to learn as a second language, but the process can be much simpler, if the lessons are tailored to your needs.
