English Course Secondary Level

48 C$ /h

Student in Business Management at an English university in Brussels. My goal is to allow the student to progress whether it is by helping him with his school work or by giving him homework if necessary.

Lori

This course is for all kinds of profiles! Graduate of a Master in French Literature, I have the taste of words and want to pass it on to those who are already closely interested in the language and its literature - or those who discover only the musicality and its innumerable exceptions!
I am curious about pedagogy and all possibilities to share knowledge (games, songs, radio, cinema). I pay attention to the quality of the meeting to guide the content of my course and share in the pleasure.

This course can be interesting for anyone with a different approach in Learning French.
I have not only got a master degree but also passion and love for French language and literature.
I'm open and flexible to try different methods of pedagogy such as, game, singing cinema, etc., according to what my students need and interest. That's why the meeting and sharing is a very important moment for me.

Sophie

Being a student myself, I have the advantage of understanding the student.
I think that studying a language is not only about learning vocabulary lists.
I have been teaching for 7 years, and have already helped around fifty students of different ages.
My Erasmus in Manchester in a situation of total bilingualism has enriched the way I teach and I can pride myself on guaranteeing a fast and pleasant progression! ;)
-> NOBODY has "no gift" for languages, the key is just to let you guide.

Gregory

Beginner: A language for a foreigner is above all new sounds to expand and train. You are a beginner, I will prepare you to feel at ease with the musicality of French.
Intermediate: we will make a list of your achievements and fill in your gaps
confirmed: we will sharpen your skills to make you almost French-speaking
student: literature, grammar, spelling.... will no longer have any secrets for you
I always work with a book adapted to your level and your needs.
Everything is done so that you speak and that listening to me is the corrected echo of your errors.
Looking forward to offering you your first lesson with me
Greg

Corinne

I can offer conversation classes at very different levels, from informal discussions with idiomatic expressions to business negotiation dialogues.

As for the pronunciation of French, it is a real challenge because written French is often very different from its articulation.

The verbo-tonal method that I use, and which is often used by speech therapists, is particularly suitable for correcting French pronunciation for those of you who are not native French speakers, but also for native French speakers who wish to get rid of an accent.

We will work on the sounds of the language integrated into the sentence, the rhythm, the intonation and considered as a living and evolving system.

This method is very effective. You will see your progress very quickly and your self-confidence will allow you to overcome any reluctance you may have had before to express yourself in public. For others, having a more neutral pronunciation in French can be a significant asset professionally.

Robert

Hello to all of you!
I welcome you to my profile.
You would like to learn French and I would also like to teach you French.
Fortunately, French is my native language. I live in Brussels where I have taught many French courses to French speakers and also to non-French speakers in the framework of FLE (French as a Foreign Language), mostly face-to-face and also some distance learning. I want to expand the use of distance learning.
Hence my presence on this site.
My greatest wish is to help you make as much progress as possible in French.
To this end, I use a judicious combination of oral and written exchanges.
I use these conversations to introduce grammatical concepts and expand your vocabulary. All this in a fun and friendly atmosphere!
You will have to express yourself a lot in French, because my level of Dutch is average. In fact, I speak it at a "normal" pace, but with a more limited vocabulary and expressions than yours.
This may seem a little frustrating at first, but it is a real benefit to you as it forces you to express yourself in French as much as possible!
It's all in your favor!
Please contact me as soon as possible so that we can start a fruitful cooperation.

Thalie

Specialized in teaching French and English, I offer general academic support for regular homework, preparation for the central jury or university admission exams.
I will adapt my way of working and my teaching methods according to my student and what he wants to improve: oral or written expression, grammar, reading and analysis of books (themes, characters), writing summaries of texts or arguments on subjects often given in the Central Jury exams or university admission exams.
I have experience working with teenagers and young adults, and my teaching also includes coaching. I am willing to travel to my student's home, and they are also welcome to visit me at my home (Uccle).

Mathilde

I offer French courses for non-French speakers, tailored to the learner's level, needs, wishes, and goals. The course will evolve as the learner progresses.
This can be done at the learner's home, at my home (Forest, Brussels), or possibly (occasionally) via webcam.

Hinde

Monitoring of schoolwork for children with difficulties (or not) up to the 2nd year of secondary school.
Adapted learning strategies.
I speak English, Italian, Arabic (some Dutch)
I also give French or Arabic lessons for beginner children.

Lisa

I offer tailored courses, in person or remotely, according to the needs of each student. For academic support, I adapt to the program followed by the child or adolescent, by deepening the concepts already covered, by re-explaining difficult points or by dissecting problematic themes.

For adults, I mainly teach the basics in Dutch, but I can adapt my lessons to different objectives. For example: learning the vocabulary for a new position, preparing for an exam (Selor, language certification), refreshing your knowledge before an interview, or improving your ability to communicate effectively in a professional or personal context. My approach is always flexible, student-centered, and aims to strengthen both understanding and self-confidence.

Amandine

As a French teacher since 2017 in secondary education (general, technical, vocational and DASPA), I offer courses tailored to your needs.

Charlotte

I offer private French lessons up to the 6th year of secondary school. I can help with grammar, spelling, reading comprehension, and written and oral expression. I also help with homework, assignments, and test and exam preparation.
The lessons are tailored to the student's level and needs, and the goal is to explain the material clearly to help them better understand and improve their results. I can also be asked for help with anything related to French or the material covered in class.

Michaël

The French course is designed to help students improve their level in grammar, spelling, conjugation, and written and oral expression.

I adapt the exercises according to the level and needs of each student, whether it is for a refresher course, academic support or exam preparation.

The goal is to progress in a clear and practical way, promoting understanding and self-confidence.

Courses are available in French or English.

Zaki

This course will allow beginners learning French to improve their written and oral skills, as well as their grammar, and will offer the acquisition of a rich vocabulary, guaranteeing a very good level of proficiency. It is also suitable for secondary school students and university students (first and second year of bachelor's degree) who are experiencing difficulties.
Grammar is studied in depth so that the pupil or student achieves perfect mastery. Vocabulary enrichment is facilitated through a literary approach to language study.
