My students complete an interest questionnaire—for example, about TV series, books, games, or topics such as ecology, feminism, or pop culture. My teaching approach helps you start speaking in full sentences from the very beginning. This makes communication much easier: you do not have to piece individual words together or pause for a long time while speaking. I am always very interested in hearing about your interests and use them to teach you new things. How a lesson is structured Small talk: We share news and settle into speaking English. Warm-up: A short, engaging discussion to get started. Main part: New grammar or vocabulary, or listening- or reading-comprehension practice. In 90% of the exercises, we actively speak. Wrap-up: We review and summarise what we have learned through conversation. Homework is an integral part of the course.
