Hi, my name is Bardiya! I offer online and in-person classes across the GTA for students of all ages, from beginner to intermediate, teaching fundamental skills such as technic, reading, and theory, and building upon them in the students' favourite pieces to ignite and nurture the love of music in their everyday life.

I have been playing the piano since I was 5 years old and have acquired my Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) level 10 certificates. I develop individual curricula through various methods, based on the student’s age, level, and preference. I also teach the RCM Method and prepare students for RCM exams.

Extra information

All you need to begin is a keyboard which, if you don't own already, you can rent for a week or month from any music store such as Long & McQuade, along with a couple books that we will discuss in our first lesson.

I have 15 years of teaching experience in Piano, Clarinet and Saxophone. I teach to the Royal Conservatory of Music exams or you can learn to play just for fun.

I teach theory with every lesson and have a proven fun approach to classes.

Hi everyone! My name is Christiana and I am a classically trained pianist. I obtained my ARCT in Piano Performance from the RCM in 2013. I continued my education at Western University where I received my BMus in Piano Performance and MMus in Piano Performance. In addition, I obtained two Postgraduate diplomas from the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp in Belgium. My goal as a teacher is to help my students develop a strong appreciation for music. Whether it's learning the piano for fun, preparing for an exam/audition, or just building musical skills; my goal is to make my student's musical journey enjoyable and productive! In the past ten years, I have taught piano privately and at music schools. I teach students of all ages. I am willing to teach online or at your home! 1- You will understand and learn the importance of using the proper way of hand techniques, muscle memory, and modified daily habits according to your own needs through a given homework after each lesson.
2- You will gain more self-trust as become more and more connected to your instrument while improving your
skill set.
3- You will understand the importance of theory and how to apply it to your daily routine practices as you learn.
4- You will learn about the importance of beat/rhythm and the different rhythmic patterns in music.
5- You will learn about hearing and differentiating the pitch.
6- You will gain awareness of what to do and what not to do as a guitar player. (This will save you a lot of time!)
7- You will learn how to modify the tunes as you understand what is playing authentically as you become more aware and confident through the classes.
