Do you want to prepare yourself for an audition, exam or simply prepare that piece you like? In these trombone lessons, depending the level that you are, you will improve your skills. From basic concepts, like embochure, air pressure, tone quality, etc, to mastering the piece that you dream about. In combination with the trombone, a introduction to music theory will also be needed. A personalized plan can be made for each student according to their own musical taste. No matter you are a pop musician or a classical musician, During these lessons we will go through the everything you need from the basics till advanced such as, For pop artists: how to make interesting harmonies, instrumentation, how to write music for your songs, how to make interesting vocal lines, how to communicate through scores and etc. For classical composers: Instrumentation, orchestration, form, harmony, how to start, how to develop an idea, how to write it down, how to write from a very small ensemble or solo till a big orchestra, how to make a professional layout and etc. If you would like to enter a conservatory this course is highly recommended Arrangement: Are you interested in making arrangements for your own instrument or for your band? During this course you will learn how to make your arrangements sound unique and interesting, pleasing for performers and beautiful for audience, where to start, how to make a good balance, instrumentation, orchestration, Harmony and etc. Music theory and ear training: Would you like to have a better understanding of music? I teach basic cello skills for starters from 7 years old to adults. I’m a patient teacher and take care of my students’ learning progress. I hope students can learn this instrument with a happy mindset, and music can be of mental help to their lives. I’m currently a college student of Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, I’m also a cellist with 10 years of experience playing in professional philharmonic orchestras, ensembles, and 1 year of teaching cello to young kids at a music center.

I've also completed 90% of my Licentiate in Composition with a GPA of 9.42, so I know a lot about music theory, analysis, counterpoint, harmony, and form.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. My lessons are distinguished by their dynamics, practical approach and adaptation to the needs and interests of the student. The lessons (live or online) take place in my studio next to the Maastunnel, where I have a premium stage piano and a top-quality webcam setup. Hi, I'm Laura, I'm a cellist and I love to share my musical knowledge with other people. I have experience with students of all ages and I believe that there is no right age to start learning to play an instrument. I adapt my lessons to the objectives and tastes of each student. We can learn classical music, but also other styles such as pop. I also offer lessons focused on music theory if that is what you are looking for! I teach online via Zoom, using software which allows you to see the exact keys I'm playing on my keyboard. My teaching method is to focus on whatever type of music the student loves most, and to build from there. I believe that many people give up their dream of playing an instrument simply because they aren't inspired enough, so my goal is to instil a love for music, whatever that means personally for each individual student. Everyone learns differently and has their own pace and rhythm. I have some students who like to have a regular weekly or biweekly lesson, and others who just get in touch once in a while when they have digested the previous lesson and feel ready to build on it. Whatever the case, I am very flexible and we can figure out what works best for you. A bit about me: Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I returned to London to complete my master's in jazz piano at the Guildhall School of Music, and during this time performed regularly at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and many other venues across the UK. I then spent two years in South America learning about salsa and Cuban music. I now mainly work as a transcriber, writing sheet music for all instruments including full Big Band scores. I have also worked extensively in musical theatre, most recently as musical director for 'Jersey Boys', and on the first US national tour of 'Summer: the Donna Summer Musical'.
