About Me

My name is Maria, I’m a Russian-Belgian pianist.

I've been studying piano my whole life, first in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, where i graduated from Mussorgsky Music College, then in Brussels, where I got a Master Spécialisé diploma (grande distinction) from the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles. I’ve been teaching piano and music theory for over 10 years now, giving lessons to students of all levels and age (the youngest being 5 years old and the eldest 76 years old!), but now I’m concentrating on teaching piano to adults only, regardless of their level!

I have a 10 years experience of teaching piano. The base of my teaching method lays in how i was tought myself, what i learnt in teaching class at the college and of course depends on individual qualities of every student.

Over the years I expanded my teaching methods, choosing individually what suits best to every student - from classical Russian school of piano (Nikolaev) to various western methods.

I’ve always been sceptical about piano lessons online until the pandemic started, then me and my students moved to the internet lessons and with many it permanently stayed that way. I believe that we live in “new normal” reality, when not being tied to a place expands our world. One can learn or teach online anything, including piano.

Experienced didgeridoo player to teach how to play the instrument. I offer classes at my home or at the student's home, or in the open air if the weather is nice. I can teach you basics, advanced techniques, and structures to play well. I also have a lot of exercises to work specific muscles.

Getting to make the sound is the first step. The basic sound, the drone is not obtained only by blowing in the instrument but by squeezing the lips slightly by letting them vibrate. Then there are 3 types of breaths to master. From a type of circular breathing already the game can become richer because the sound is continuously ....

I am Marc pianist and sound engineer.
I started my piano lessons with Leo Caerts jr. After secondary school piano in the municipal music conservatory of Leuven and private lessons from Erwin Deleux I followed the (Russian school) method. I am a student of A. Mogilevsky (student of the gifted professor Timakin) and Youlia Zaichkina. I also participated in masterclasses with prof. Alan Fraser and Fabrice Eulry and I perfect myself in classical harmony and composition with Erika Budai.
I give piano lessons classical and jazz / pop, jazz harmony, classical harmony and this for beginners as well as advanced and all ages. Highly sensitive people are welcome. The lessons are given in a very professional environment.
I would like to share my passion with you!

I also give house concerts on request.

My name is María, I am a Venezuelan Cellist.
All my musical education was inside the musical program "El Sistema" in Venezuela. This education was based on preparing myself as a better human being though playing cello in orchestras, chamber music and as soloist.
I am current studying my Master degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.
In what consist my lessons?
Cello classes for all levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced), it does not matter if you have never played cello before or if you are already studying, the important thing is to help you achieve the goals you want with this beautiful instrument.
To have better results with practice, if it is necessary to help you with music theory, I will help you.
As well, if you're looking for help in orchestral excerpts for auditions, I'm here for you!
For kids, parental support is also important during some lesson, we are all a team and we need to work together to achieve the goals!

Giovanna raised and formed in Florence, where she began her guitar studies at the age of five at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole. In September, she graduated cum laude and she's currently enrolled in the Master’s program at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, studying with Antigoni Goni.

Winner of many international competitions, she performed plenty of times in Italy and in 2023 she has held a solo concert in Milan for the XXXVIII Società Umanitaria's concerts season. Next to renowned guitarists, such as Luigi Attademo and Giorgio Albiani, she performed the world premiere of Álvaro Company’s Concert Català for ten guitars, in the revision by Vincenzo Saldarelli.

Alongside her performing activity, Giovanna has developed a strong dedication to teaching adults, children, and teenagers. She tailors each learning path to the individual student, carefully balancing personal interests with technical and artistic development, whether for amateur musicians or students preparing for conservatory admission. Her teaching approach places particular emphasis on physical awareness and well-being, guiding students toward healthy and efficient use of the body while playing. I am a professional violinist and teacher with more than 10 years of teaching experience, working with students from young beginners through to ATCL diploma level. I trained at the Conservatoire Royal de Liège in the Franco-Belgian violin tradition and currently perform with the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra.

My teaching combines strong technical foundations with listening, musical curiosity and confidence. Growing up in Hong Kong, I began my own violin studies with the Suzuki Method, and I am now continuing my training in Suzuki pedagogy. I particularly value its emphasis on learning through listening, positive encouragement and developing good habits naturally.

I want lessons to be enjoyable and encouraging, while still giving students the tools to become thoughtful and independent musicians. My experience includes individual teaching as well as orchestras, bands and ensembles, so rhythm, listening to others and making music together are also important parts of my teaching.

Lessons are adapted to each student's age, level and goals, whether learning for enjoyment or preparing for exams, competitions and performances. Previous students have progressed from beginner to ATCL level, with several receiving prizes at the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival.
