Learn dreadlocks one-on-one with an experienced professional loctician and educator. My lessons are tailored completely to your goals, whether you want to confidently maintain your own dreadlocks, improve your professional technique, troubleshoot a difficult case, learn installation or extension methods, or develop the skills needed to work professionally as a loctician.
I have years of hands-on experience working exclusively with dreadlocks through my own studio, and I already provide private education and mentoring. I have taught complete beginners, existing locticians and students who have gone on to establish successful dreadlock studios of their own.
My teaching is practical and technique-focused. I explain not only what to do, but why each method works, so you can understand the principles and confidently apply them independently.
Lessons can cover areas such as:
• dreadlock maintenance and tidy-up techniques
• creating and installing dreadlocks
• synthetic and human-hair extensions
• sectioning and placement
• repairs and troubleshooting
• working with different hair types and client situations
• improving speed, consistency and professional technique
• pricing, client systems and starting or improving a dreadlock business
Sessions are suitable for beginners through to working locticians and are customised to what you actually need help with.

Extra information
Students should have a stable internet connection and a device that allows me to clearly see their hands and working area. Depending on the lesson, you may need a mannequin head, your own dreadlocks, a model, and the tools/materials you normally work with. I will let you know what to prepare before the session.
