This course develops students' skills in reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking through the study of literature, non-fiction texts, and language conventions. Students will analyze a range of texts—including novels, short stories, poetry, and essays—to build comprehension, interpretive, and analytical abilities. Through regular writing assignments, students will strengthen their skills in narrative, expository, and persuasive composition, with an emphasis on clear organization, effective argumentation, and grammatical accuracy.
Class discussions and collaborative activities will encourage students to articulate ideas confidently, listen actively, and engage respectfully with diverse perspectives. Vocabulary development, grammar instruction, and research skills are integrated throughout the course to support overall communication proficiency.
