The guitar is a very versatile instrument to play - both acoustic and electric. I can teach you fingerstlye guitar which is more solo guitar - playing the chords - melody and bassnotes without needing a band or others to play music. If you want to play in a band then one can focus on playing one or more of the various styles - like blues guitar, jazz guitar, fusion guitar. I can teach you to play in the style that you like as you can see in the various catergories I have checked. We will go through learning the different scale patters - (also known as modes) - chord theory, knowing the guitar fretboard, various techniques like legato (using slides, pull-offs, hammer-ons), string bending, picking and fingerstyle exercises and much more. If you want to learn how to read music we can start at the very beginning and build up your reading music skill. I will provide all the needed material for you to read and practice and direct you to other helpful ways you can interact with to progress.

Guitar (Acoustic/Electric) lessons for beginners focus on finger placement, strumming, sight-reading, understanding groove, and chord placement. Students will learn to care for their instruments as well as to tune the guitar. From classic rock to current music, guitar lessons are sure to excite you. My Intermediate lessons add chord progressions, fingerpicking, pentatonic scales, ear training and reading sheet music. For the advanced student, I offer lessons that teach scale sequencing, sweep picking, riffs, and intervals.

Hello! I am a student from University of Taipei. My major is Music Performance (Cello). I am learning music since the age of 10. I started learn guitar in the age of 10 and start to learn cello in the age of 15. I want to teach for more experience in teaching music.
