I propose an individualized pedagogy, a help with the preparation of interrogations or exams. My goal is to advance the student without overburdening him. I give homework after each lesson and periodically provide progress reports.

For English lessons, I teach the student a good command of the English language at the oral and written level by enriching his vocabulary and lexicon.

I am a bilingual speaker of english and icelandic. I also speak french and danish. I am a lawyer and have been working in international human rights organisations for the past three years where I carry out all of my professional activities in English. My TOEFL IBT score is 115 out of 120.

As I am fluent in English and also familiar with the difficulties of learning a foreign language I believe I could be the right person to help you further develop your english skills!

I am available to help with homework, develop grammar skills, reading and comprehension and/or speaking. I adapt to your needs.

I give French lessons for adults or students of any level wishing to improve their spelling or their dissertations.
I also give English lessons for students or adults wishing to improve their pronunciation, writing and vocabulary.
I adapt to each student according to his expectations and his objectives and offers them a personalized help.
Hope to see you soon!

I am a student at Centrale Paris, one of the best engineering schools in France, and I am looking to give lessons in Math, Physics and English in Strasbourg in person (and elsewhere in distance) to students in college and high school, or even Post -bac.

I am very motivated and professional, my approach to private lessons comes from my own prep courses, it is simple and effective: learn your course perfectly, apply it to a large number of simple exercises to learn how to apply, then to a number of complicated exercises to learn to master the course.

In particular, I was able to apply these precepts with great success when I was the internship supervisor of a second year intern, to teach him the audiovisual professions (I was president of the audiovisual association in my school). I am also fortunate to be able to arrange my schedules to suit you best.

If you are a student or parent of a student in college, high school, or Post-Bac, do not hesitate to contact me for private lessons, homework support or refresher or reinforcement courses !

Hello, I am Josh from Australia and I currently live in France.
I am an English teacher and tutor.

My approach to teaching is based mostly on the Communicative Method. Everything we do - reading, writing, listening, grammar has an end goal of serving a communicative purpose.
I do not lecture, and I try to keep my talking to a minimum. It is about You, and you should be talking the most.
I like to elicit and get a lot of information from my students', that helps in building their confidence in the language and reducing my teacher talk time.
And finally, my approach is FUN. We need to enjoy what we are doing. I create lessons that are engaging, motivating and interesting. We need to have a laugh and not take things too seriously. Language is play and play is fun, if it's not then we will get bored.

I have been teaching English for over 8 years now in a few different countries. I love teaching English and getting the most out of my students. I take a great interested in supporting you in your language journey and success.

With me, I will support you, challenge you, and create lessons specifically for you. That way, you will enjoy the lessons and see improvement.

Generally, I create a lesson built around a theme or topic and from there I introduce a 'bite size' instruction for revision and practice. For example, a new grammar or vocabulary topic. The focus is ultimately on communication and getting the most out of you.

See you soon!

Josh

English lessons for middle school students having some difficulty in this subject.

I help students in the areas where they are having the most difficulty through exercises, and train them to hold a dialogue in English.

grammar, vocabulary and more

Need help revising literary subjects like French, English and homework help in general? I offer you help to improve in these subjects.

With a literary baccalaureate, I took a semester of literary prep courses and currently hold a BAC +3. I am certified level C2 in English.

I can help primary, middle and high school students.

I have been studying English since I was 4 years old. In primary school I participated in the English competition. I had the opportunity to practice my English in the international environment and in January 2025 I did my Oxford Test of English certificate at my C1 level.

With a degree in English Language, Literature, and Civilization (LLCER), I can help students from A1 to C1 level, both written and spoken! :)

I use the "Bled Anglais tout-en-un" (All-in-One English) which I used during my studies; we will study together, chapter by chapter, or according to the concepts you wish to discover or relearn. My lessons are suitable for both those wishing to improve their English and those who wish to begin learning this language.

Educational philosophy: Dynamic cultural integration

I adopt a "Living Language" methodology that views language as a constantly evolving practice, not simply a set of static rules. My teaching style is energetic and interactive, designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and the vibrant reality of interacting with native speakers. By freeing myself from the constraints of traditional pedagogy, I offer you a fresh, engaging learning experience perfectly aligned with how people express themselves today.

Distinctive features:

Media-driven learning: We use news articles, viral videos, music and podcasts as our primary teaching materials, making learning as engaging as it is culturally relevant.

Conversational fluency: The main objective of our sessions is to achieve natural fluency. I only intervene to move the conversation forward, thus helping you develop the stamina needed to maintain long exchanges without mental fatigue.

Real-time correction and feedback: I offer instant constructive coaching on pronunciation and cadence, helping you smooth out the rough edges of your accent and more quickly adopt the natural rhythm of the language.
