About Me

Hello, My name is Eliška and I am from the Czech Republic. In my 13 years, I started to learn French at a French bilingual high school and since then I fell in love with the French language. During my bachelor's and master's studies focused on French too, I decided to help others to learn or improve this beautiful language. I had French courses with many different people whose objectives were different. We always discussed what is their main aim and how we will manage our courses. I always adapt the content and speed according to the needs of the students. I like to see the improvement of my students. To name a few examples, I helped one student prepare for a Master programme in France, and one of my students passed the DELF B2 certificate on 90 % after preparing with me. I have also experience with students in grammar or high school that started to learn a new language and need support at the beginning, especially with the pronunciation.
Regarding the Czech language, I helped Erasmus students to learn the basics when they stayed for studies in Czechia. I am always happy to teach my native language to people that are interested in Czech.

French is an important language, it is with english, the international official language. Moreover, swedish and french languages have a lot in common. Learning French can improve your Swedish skills by understanding the construction and origins of the words and the chords of words. Therefore, French is an accessible language for a Swedish speaker, and, as French is my mothertongue, I would be delighted to help you.
Depending of your level and experience in french, i can help you from basic French (level A1 to A2, starting with the alphabet and basic words and construction of sentence) to fluent french. I can also help you by correcting your writing and speaking expressions, by explaining grammar and conjugation rules.

To introduce myself, my name is Clement, i am in a master Degree of European law at Stockholms Universitetet (in english). I was born in Dijon - France, and i learnt english during summer 2016 while i was working in UK. I have a bachelor degree in french literature and public law. Because i must have a high level of french in both fields that I study(ied),it is then very hard for me to make mistake in french.
I speak fluent English (from what my friend told me, I also must be fluent in english for my master degree) so if french isn't our conversation language, it is possible to occasionally switch to english.

A typical lesson can be divided in different parts:
- audio/video extract (listening comprehension)
- text excerpt (reading comprehension)
- grammar & vocabulary
- talking exercises from the text and from the interactive media extract.

Language learning is supposed to be funny & playful to be efficient. So each lesson would be centred on a cultural topic (in accordance with the student hobbies). The different exercises will be based on this subject development. I suggest following ones around French culture: History, Litterature, Geography & Travelling, Music, Gastronomy, Other arts (film, painting, choragraphic).
If you are interested in, please mention your level and your hobbies. I will suggest you a learning program you will valid or not.

Learning languages can be a very challenging task to do. Mainly when the classes are boring, go too fast and teach you things you feel like will never be able to use in real life.
In my class I will teach you vocabulary, grammar, conjugation, as well as pronunciation, talking and hearing skills. I will differ my teaching on what you want to focus on, if it is for school work or personal goals. As I am a native speaker, I can also teach you about french culture, society and mannerisms (whatever you are curious about!). My wish is for you to feel that you are learning at a comfortable pace while having fun, and feeling that what you are learning is relevant to your goal. I think it is also important to have a variety of ways you can learn. We can watch french movies, read certain books you could be interested in, or even play some games, so you would learn in different ways :)
