It is this reason that I truly believe that if English is taught in an everyday stand point, people will be able to apply the language naturally and more so habitually, with practice. I will also approach this classes based on the student's level and will be practicing in all skills, speaking, writing and comprehension. I would like to be able to share my knowledge in English and help other people to have the confidence to speak and comprehend the language. My promise is that after each session, I want my student to learn something new, because I also believe that there is no big or small learnings - learning, however big or small it may be, IS LEARNING. About Me

Learning English is no easy task, as learning any new language is not. However, with diligence and proper guidance, anything is possible. I am here for that reason, I want to be the person to help you through the journey of learning English in the most efficient, fun way possible and of course, affordable. I am from the Philippines where English and Filipino (Tagalog) are our national languages, I have also been an English tutor for young adults (15-19) and college students (20-25) for almost four years (2011-2015) during my college years.

Education

I graduated with a degree in Microbiology from the University of Santo Tomas, I have also been consistently teaching preparatory lectures for students that are about to take EPTs (English Proficiency Tests) such as TOEFL iBT and TOIEC.

For classes, immersion is preferable; of course, the main points can be explained in the language of your choice (English or French). Conversational English skills are an integral component of fluency. Tutoring sessions with me will focus on pronunciation, understandability, the vocabulary, and usage. As a native English speaker from the United States, my accent is 90% "Hollywood" and 10% "British". If someone has a preference in their accent I can give them the correct pronunciation for either.

When my clients need support with written English, I am happy to assist them as well.

Some clients wish to develop their accent to one that is more easily understood, and we will develop exercises to help them polish the pronunciation they are seeking.

I also work with my clients if they have a hesitancy to speak English. We will work out what is holding them back and we will develop the necessary skills.
