I use Improv Theater to help people develop better public speaking, spontaneity, creativity, team-work, and leadership.
Improvisational Theater is the art of theater performance where there are no scripts and where everything--characters, setting, and plot, is created spontaneously and based on the suggestion of the audience.

It is used in universities and second-language learning centers, also widely used in global companies such as Google, Disney, and startup companies in Silicon Valley.

In a workshop we will be using exercises from Improv Theater to improve the student's confidence, quick-thinking, and command of the English language in a fun and engaging way.

- This class is best experienced with at least 4 students in a class

About Me

I facilitate workshops using Applied Improvisation. Improvisational Theater is the art of theater performance where there are no scripts and where everything--characters, setting, and plot, is created spontaneously. Applied Improvisation is when principles of Improv Theater is used to help people develop better communication skills, spontaneity, creativity, team-work, and leadership. It is used in universities and second-language learning centers, also widely used in global companies such as Google, Disney, and startup companies in Silicon Valley. Improvisation was actually originally used to help migrants in Chicago to adapt to a new environment and most importantly, to learn a new language. It is very effective and a fun way of learning, especially nowadays where there's a lot of of Neuroscience studies supporting Creative Play.

I have been practicing improv, both as a performer and a facilitator, for the past 3 years. I'm an alumnus of Third Wold Improv school, the premiere improv school in the Philippine, a member of the Global Applied Improvisation Network (AIN), and an organizing member of the Applied Improv network - Asia Regional Group . I've recently been given a scholarship to the World Applied Improv Network Conference in Paris, where I attended and facilitated learning sessions related to this practice.
