I graduated from the Paris Conservatory with both Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Piano Performance and Chamber Music in the studio of Michel Beroff. I was a Rebanks Fellow at the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Canada. I graduated from Yale School of Music with Artist Diploma with Peter Frankl and recently graduated with a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the Peabody Institute, where I had the chance to study with Leon Fleisher.
I have enjoyed teaching all along my professional career and am passionate about sharing my love for piano and music.

About Me
Pianist Stefan has performed across Europe and North America to a high critical acclaim. First prize winner of several international competitions, including the International Piano Competition Varna, International Piano Competition „Schumann-Brahms“ in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, second prize at the International Piano Competition Albert-Roussel in Sofia, Mr. Stefan enjoys a versatile career as a soloist, concerto soloist, and chamber musician.

His latest recording featured a solo album with Clementi Piano Sonatas for the Naxos Label, hailed by the critics as “breathtakingly beautiful” (American Record Guide), “a true musical pleasure” (Ritmo), “utter perfection” (The WholeNote). Born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, Stefan made his concert debut in Sofia at the age of eleven as a soloist with the Sofia Soloists chamber ensemble performing JS Bach's Piano Concerto in D Minor, BWV 1052.

He studied at the Conservatoire de Paris with Michell Béroff and was a Rebanks Family Fellow at The Glenn Gould School under the tutelage of John Perry. He was awarded an Artist Diploma at Yale School of Music with Peter Frankl and his DMA at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University with Leon Fleisher.
