Hi! I'm a passionate recreational musician with over 10 years of experience studying music and drums at the Academie Haspengouw in Sint-Truiden. I take immense pride in graduating with great distinction and find immense joy in sharing my knowledge and skills with others.

Besides mastering the art of drumming, I've also honed my skills in playing the guitar and the clarinet in my spare time. As someone who loves rhythm and melody, I offer personalized drum lessons that cater to your unique journey. As a professional drummer you will be asked to be as musical as possible whether you're in a band, you got hired for studio sessions or you're in the pit playing live music for theatre shows. In my class I offer you different topics such as giving you tips on how to efficiently memorise the music you wanna play, how to understand it and how to extend your skills while staying musical.
Stretching and exercising the muscles around your wrists is something that needs to be considered as HIGHLY RECOMMENDED too. Together we will talk about different variations to straighten your drummer hands without feeling any pain. I want to get the most out of your drumming skills!

You can contact me for your first steps behind the drums, sharpening your technique/attitude, introduction to (sub)genres such as jazz/pop/light/hafabra/..., developing a more efficient study method, preparing for a conservatory training, and so on.

I can teach at home but also provide a location around the regions (Antwerp, Hasselt, Ghent or Leuven).
Provided I have already completed my master's diploma tuba (euphonium) and master percussion and also follow a master trombone, I can teach different instruments.

During the lessons there is the choice to implement solfège or to keep the lessons only instrument technical. I work very constructively and I like to listen to the wishes / goals of the student.
In the lessons I work very specifically on the wishes and goals of the student. This can be a very classical training but also contain modern pop songs.

I previously gave lectures at the KULeuven (AVnet) and SAE Institute Brussels as a guest lecturer, and masterclasses or workshops for various organizational events.
