Education

Postgraduate Diploma in Education from National Institute of Education, 2006-2007. Bachelor of Social Sciences from National University of Singapore. Majoring in sociology. 2001-2005.

No music qualifications, experience performing at a friend's wedding and in church choir for more than 3 years. Christmas carolling.

Hello! My name is Vaana and I am a classical voice teacher.
I am an experienced teacher who teaches students of all levels, from beginners to advanced students.
I was a musical child and began playing the piano at four years old. Later, I studied the violin and flute. I began my singing journey by singing in choirs but with the help of my teachers, went on to develop as a soloist instead. I have had the pleasure of studying with renowned sopranos such as Michele Crider and Barbara Bonney, and recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in voice at the University of Mozarteum in Salzburg.
As a performing pianist, I am also equipped to accompany you during our lessons as well.
