1975 - Developed a brand name in the volume promotional sportswear market. Sold in 1989 with sales of £12m. During this period, also co-founded a PC distribution Co that went on to become a top selling IBM PC dealership within 2 years, with sales of £10m
1980’s - Converted a church in Wimbledon and sold it as an established serviced office operation.
1985 – 1992 – Established a commodities trading company dealing with several African companies. Project managed the building of a hatchery project in Zanzibar.
1992 – 1995 Consultant/mentor to the CEO & diverse group of shareholders of a licensed sportswear business. Hands on approach resulted in its rapid expansion and sale to VF Corporation, a NYSE company.
1995 – 2003 - Founded and developed a sportswear licensing company, which was sold in 2003 to Alexandra Workwear plc. Retained for 2 years as a consultant after sale.
1995 onwards - Developed a serviced offices operation in Sussex.
2002 - 2012 – Relocated with wife & children to South Africa & was involved in importing & exporting, forestry, building & selling of small aircraft, commercial & residential development, consultant/mentor to CEO of Forestry business, consultant/mentor to CEO of irrigation company. Establishment & implementation of a global licensing operation.
2017 – 2019 – Advisory and mentoring role of CEO and shareholders of UK based Botanical Juice company.
2017 – 2022 – Purchased, operated & sold a UK 40-room seaside hotel requiring renovation & restoring to former glory & profitability.
