About Me

My name is Dmitry, I am from Latvia. I am professional guitar teacher, performer and composer. My experience in teaching is above 20 years. I can teach any musical system, such as Trinity, ABRSM, LCM and many more. From the beginner level till diploma.
There is no age limitation.
For adults I have very flexible methods of teaching.
I can teach various music styles: classic,pop, rock, jazz, modern music, finger style, Spanish guitar style, and/or your favourite songs. Also I can teach guitar improvisation, including the information about chords, arpeggios, scales, technical exercises.

Education

Ventspils school, Liepaya's music college, Latvian Music Academy. Professional classical guitar teacher with more than 20 years of experience. Can teach classical/rock/blues/jazz/Spanish guitar.

Experience / Qualifications

Bachelor degree of Latvian Music Academy as a classical guitar teacher. Also can teach various styles of music: classic, rock, blues, jazz.

I was born in Syria, the city of Damascus. I learned to play the oud in 2013. I was a music teacher in many private and public schools in my home country. In addition, I taught the oud in music institutes and to serious students through private lessons.
I have a lot of activities and concerts in my home country, and the most important theaters include the Opera House, Al Hamra Theater and Dummar Cultural Theatre.
I played with many bands, in addition to singing the oud solo with percussion,

With over 7 years of teaching experience, I focus on teaching technical and relaxed playing, while also sharing my studio and live performance expertise. I play in bands, work as a session musician and record in studios.
