Regarding the scheduling of classes, although it is convenient to plan the development of the classes with the student depending on their individual needs, I usually divide the lesson into different theoretical blocks depending on the student's level. For example, dividing the class into the grammar block, the vocabulary block, the reading comprehension block, etc. Each block would consist of a theoretical part (explanation and comprehension), then the corresponding practical part (where the student will do exercises to put the knowledge acquired into practice), finally the student will review the lesson with the teacher and ask any questions, to see if it is necessary to repeat the explanation in a new way so that the student can acquire the knowledge in the best way. This is important because not all students need the same type of explanation, so knowing your students and knowing what type of teaching resources to apply at each moment is key to good teaching, not only of languages, but of any type of subject.
