• I teach French for beginners and conversational French :
I'm native French. Last year I taught the basics of my language to my Latvian boyfriend who came to settle down with me in France. And now it's been almost one year that I'm teaching French online to people from the whole world.

• I teach English for beginners :
I validated the first year of a Master degree in languages, specialised in English to French translation. Afterwards I had several experiences abroad, working in international teams, talking English daily.

• I teach Spanish for beginners :
I studied Spanish and English at university during 4 years, from which one year in Spain with the Erasmus program. Then I worked in Melia Hotels International, a famous Spanish hotel chain.
Extra information
On our first session we will first study your needs, your goals, your level and your way of learning, so that I can plan my teaching program.

About Me
I am Fanny, 35 years old, passionate about languages, the mountains, meeting new people and animals.

Whether you want to learn the basics of French, reinforce your existing skills, enrich your vocabulary, deepen your knowledge, improve your accent... I will guide you step by step.

Child, teenager, adult, senior, I am open to different learning methods, depending on your needs.

During our first session, I will analyze your level and type of memory (auditory, visual, etc.), and I will listen to your expectations regarding our exchanges as well as the objectives you wish to achieve, in order to establish a concrete program and adapt my lessons to your profile.

I am available 7 days a week, from morning to night!
Education
After my Master 1 in Applied Foreign Languages with a specialization in translation and medical terminology, a need for change led me to the mountains, into the hospitality sector.

This was followed by 12 years in the tourism sector in France and abroad, working with an international clientele.

Finally, a desire to share knowledge and support others led me to retrain in teaching and training.
A 6-month course within Greta, including skills assessments and personality tests, confirmed my new career plan.
Experience / Qualifications
4 years of language studies at university, during which I particularly enjoyed translation (version), from English and Spanish into French.

I then had the opportunity to practice English and Spanish daily during my various experiences in France and abroad, with my colleagues and an international clientele.

I gave private English and Spanish lessons to relatives, and French lessons to my partner who is of Latvian origin!

It has now been almost a year since I started teaching French to foreigners online (video).

Currently preparing for the Diploma of Aptitude for Teaching French as a Foreign Language (DAEFLE) at the Alliance Française, I already have several experiences as a FLE teacher (see my experiences below).

TYPICAL COURSE OF A FLE SESSION:
1 - The level test
When you contact me, I offer to send you a level test (oral comprehension, written comprehension and written production) so that I can prepare personalized lessons adapted to your needs. This test is to be taken at home alone and returned before the first lesson.

2 - The first course
The first lesson takes place in several stages: first an oral production (depending on the level: introducing yourself, talking about your weekend, etc.), then written comprehension, oral comprehension, and the last 5 or 10 minutes are devoted to a dialogue between the learner and myself so that you can practice speaking. At the end of each lesson, I give you a written production assignment to return to me before the next lesson.

3 - The following courses
The first part of the class is devoted to correcting written production. Then, written comprehension and oral comprehension. Then the last 5 or 10 minutes are devoted to oral production (most often a dialogue between us). At the end of each class, I assign a written production assignment to return to me before the next class. Depending on needs, I can also assign an oral production to prepare for the following class.

EXPERIENCES IN FLE:
Between 2017 and 2019 I gave French as a foreign language lessons in a reception center for asylum seekers and refugees (CADA).
In 2019, I completed my final-year internship at the French Department of the University of Languages and International Studies (ULIS) in Hanoi, Vietnam. I was a French language assistant for Vietnamese students. The levels ranged from A1 to C1.
In 2020, with the mutual aid association between French and Vietnamese students that I co-founded, I also gave FLE courses to Vietnamese students already present in France, in order to optimize their chances of success in their university courses.

Furthermore, I followed the Cavilam MOOC in 2020, for which I received the certificate, in order to familiarize myself with a real method to improve myself as a FLE teacher.

I am able to give you French as a foreign language lessons remotely. I have a microphone, a webcam, and teaching materials that I created. I am friendly and very approachable. I would be delighted to help you learn French.
