I like to share my passion for the banjo and the old-time music that made it known. I am also involved in the development of events, jams and festivals that make this tradition better known here in Brussels. My teaching is based on traditional techniques to help you better develop your own use of the instrument by understanding what distinguishes it from another stringed instrument.

Education

Holder of a teaching diploma (HEFF), I am mainly guided by my numerous experiences in the US traditional music sector (known as Old-Time). I had the opportunity to give several banjo workshops in Europe (Italy, Netherlands, France, etc.) and to develop my practice with many custodians of the tradition in the United States (Cliffop, Galax Fiddle Convention , ...).
