I offer personalized support in Mathematics, Science, and schoolwork for students from 7 to 17 years old. The lessons are adapted to each student's age, school level, curriculum, learning pace, and individual needs.

The course can be used for regular academic support, homework assistance, strengthening fundamental concepts, overcoming specific difficulties, preparing for tests, or simply helping students become more confident and independent in their studies.

Depending on the student's age and school level, lessons can include:

¤ Mathematics — arithmetic, fractions, percentages, geometry, algebra, equations, functions, trigonometry, probability, statistics, and problem-solving
¤ Science — general science, matter and energy, basic physics and chemistry, biology, the human body, the environment, and other topics according to the student's school curriculum
¤ Homework & School Support — understanding lessons, completing exercises, reviewing difficult concepts, preparing for tests, and developing effective methods for approaching schoolwork

My teaching approach evolves with the student's age. For younger students, I focus on making mathematics and science intuitive and engaging through clear explanations, concrete examples, and curiosity. As students progress, I gradually introduce more structured reasoning, problem-solving methods, and independent thinking.

The objective is not simply to complete homework or memorize information, but to help students understand what they are learning, develop stronger reasoning skills, gain confidence, and gradually become more independent.

I hold a PhD in Physics and have a broad academic background in mathematics, physics, and experimental sciences. I adapt each lesson to the student's actual school program rather than following a fixed course.

Lessons can be provided in English or French, with explanations in Arabic whenever helpful.
Extra information
If possible, please send me the student's course material, homework, exercises, or the topics they are currently studying before the lesson. This allows me to prepare a session adapted to their school level and specific needs.

About Me
I hold a PhD in Physics and have an international academic background spanning Lebanon and France. I began my studies in Physics at the Lebanese University, Lebanon’s leading public university, before pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied and Engineering Physics, specializing in Photonics and Optics, at the University of Lorraine and the engineering school CentraleSupélec in Metz. I then completed my PhD at Université Côte d’Azur, within the Observatoire de la Côte d’Azur, through a research program co-funded by CNES, the French Space Agency.
My doctoral research focused on space optics, space geodesy, optical metrology, photonics, and laser communications, including the development and experimental validation of a 10 Gb/s free-space optical system over a 5 km atmospheric link.

Learning science is about much more than memorizing formulas, definitions, or finding the right answer to an exercise. It is a way of learning how to think: how to approach an unfamiliar problem, identify what really matters, question assumptions, connect different ideas, and construct a solution logically, step by step. My goal is not only to help students understand their courses and achieve better academic results, but also to sharpen their reasoning, stimulate their curiosity, build confidence in their own abilities, and become more independent learners and problem-solvers. These skills extend far beyond the classroom and can shape the way we analyze situations, make decisions, and approach challenges throughout life.

I offer personalized support in Physics and Mathematics, from secondary school to university level, as well as in Chemistry and Biology at secondary and high-school level. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s needs, objectives, pace, and way of learning, whether the goal is to strengthen fundamental concepts, overcome specific difficulties, prepare for an exam, or explore a subject in greater depth.
For university and engineering students, I also offer specialized support across a broad range of scientific fields:

¤ Advanced Physics — mechanics, quantum physics, thermodynamics, and materials science
¤ Optics & Photonics — lasers, electromagnetism, waves, spectroscopy, and optical metrology
¤ Astrophysics & Space Science
¤ Mathematics
¤ Statistics & Probability
¤ Data Analysis
¤ General Chemistry
¤ Signal Processing
¤ Scientific Computing — MATLAB and Python

Dedicated classes covering these different areas are available on my profile.
Lessons can be provided in English or French, with explanations in Arabic when helpful.

I offer personalized academic support in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for secondary and high-school students. Whether the goal is to strengthen fundamental concepts, overcome specific difficulties, improve problem-solving skills, prepare for tests and exams, or simply gain confidence in a subject, each lesson is adapted to the student's curriculum, level, objectives, and learning pace.

Learning science is about much more than memorizing formulas, definitions, and procedures. My approach focuses first on understanding: identifying what really matters, connecting different concepts, developing logical reasoning, and learning how to approach a problem step by step. The objective is not only to improve academic results, but also to help students become more confident, curious, and independent learners.

Depending on the student's level and curriculum, I can provide support in:

¤ Mathematics — algebra, equations and inequalities, functions, sequences, geometry, trigonometry, vectors, limits, derivatives, integrals, probability and statistics
¤ Physics — mechanics, motion and forces, energy, electricity, electromagnetism, waves, optics, thermodynamics, atomic and modern physics
¤ Chemistry — atomic structure, chemical bonding, reactions, stoichiometry, solutions and concentrations, acids and bases, oxidation-reduction, thermochemistry, kinetics and introductory organic chemistry
¤ Biology — cell biology, genetics and DNA, molecular biology, human physiology, reproduction, evolution, ecology and basic biochemistry

I hold a PhD in Physics and have a broad academic background in physics, mathematics, applied sciences, and experimental research. My scientific training allows me to connect concepts across different subjects and, whenever useful, relate what students learn in class to concrete examples, experiments, technology, and real scientific applications.

Lessons are adapted to the student's own school program and materials and can be provided in English or French, with explanations in Arabic whenever helpful.

Graduated from the Arts et Métiers engineering school, after having completed a preparatory class, and a master's degree in bioengineering from the Charpak Institute (equivalent to a PACES1), I completed a master's thesis in microbiology and microtechnology at EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne). Today, I design medical devices by supervising my team of work-study students and interns. During my studies and my experiences abroad, I was often required to provide academic support and teach students experiencing difficulties in their studies, particularly in Asia and Thailand.

This support is particularly important to me because, during my studies, I benefited from this type of support and helped me to better understand my courses. Also, it is important for me to perpetuate this dynamic of transmission and sharing.

Courses in Cachan. Possibility of traveling to the student's home.

Hello !
Passionate about mathematics and keen to pass on my knowledge, I offer math lessons adapted to all levels (middle school, high school, or even higher education depending on needs).

Method of working
My priority: to restore confidence in each student and make math an accessible and even enjoyable subject!

Personalized diagnosis
During the first session, I identify the student's strengths, challenges, and goals with the student. This allows me to develop a targeted program tailored to their level, allowing them to progress effectively.

Clear and illustrated explanations
I transform abstract concepts into concrete examples and real-life situations to facilitate understanding. Each lesson is based on diagrams, games, or analogies adapted to the student's age and interests.

Progressive and varied exercises
I propose exercises of increasing difficulty, to consolidate acquired knowledge, stimulate thinking and autonomy. We work on both the fundamentals as well as methods of solving and organizing reasoning.

Individualized monitoring and availability
I remain available between sessions to answer your questions or review your homework. Regular progress reports ensure accurate monitoring and allow for adjustments to the method if necessary.

Developing motivation
My goal is not only academic success, but also to transmit curiosity and the joy of understanding! I encourage initiative, the search for personal examples, and value every progress, big or small.

Physics doesn’t have to feel impossible. I know it can be confusing sometimes, but with the right explanations, it actually starts to make sense — and even be fun.

In our lessons, I’ll go step by step, breaking things down in a simple way and making sure you really understand before moving on. We’ll review the theory together, then practice with exercises so you can gain confidence and see real progress.

I can help with high school physics, exam prep (like the Bac), or university-level topics (mechanics, electricity, waves, etc.). I always adapt to your level and the way you learn best.

My goal is to make physics less stressful and help you feel more prepared, whether that’s to improve your grades, pass an exam, or just finally “get it.”

Hello
My lessons are aimed at those who strive for excellence in Maths. If your child already has a score above 16/20 and wants to improve, I believe I can help them.

Inasmuch as :
- Former prep school student, M' (now PM* I think)
- Former student of a top 5 business school
- Former private tutor in Maths (and Physics) for high school and preparatory school students, while I was a student
- Still passionate about math,
- Still passionate about teaching, with a very personal and unique style
- father of 3 boys
I would be happy to give lessons to your child, ideally at high school level.

I am not a professional teacher, so I don't come with my own sets of exercises. I simply help the student by re-explaining the lesson in my own way, and by working through a few exercises (already done in class or in which he has difficulty, or new ones taken from his book).
Through my work with my children (23, 16, and 12 years old), I've realized that children are finding it increasingly difficult to concentrate on understanding a lesson, its logic, the tools it gradually provides (theorems, definitions, etc.), and how to use them. They are less and less able to take notes and reflect by writing down their ideas. In my opinion, excellence lies in this.

I'm not doing this just for the money. I'm truly passionate about the subject matter, about success, about teaching.
So I accept that everyone pays what they can/want.
I hope to see many of you soon.
See you soon.

I offer tutoring tailored to all levels, from middle school to high school, whether for review, catching up, or regular support to prepare for the Brevet or Baccalaureate exams. I also provide homework help for middle school students in all subjects. Lessons take place once or twice a week, depending on the student's needs and availability.
I have been teaching students from middle school to high school for 5 years now, and I have already helped several students overcome their difficulties and develop effective revision strategies.
Feel free to contact me for more information or to arrange a first lesson.
Best regards,
Berenice
