With the CLT we emphasize students' ability to communicate in real-life contexts, and students learn to make requests, accept offers, explain things, and express their feelings and preferences. It focuses on fluency.

Total Physical Response (TPR) Method

In this method the students react to the teacher with movements, such as imitating, gesturing or acting out the language.
For example, the teacher and students may frown exaggeratedly and pretend to cry when they learn the word "sad."

Teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language ELE with more than 10 years of experience teaching young children and adults, individually and in groups, as well as diplomats from the German, North American and Canadian Embassies.
