About Me

My musical training began at age eight with the piano, and my curiosity led me to progressively master the guitar, bass, and drums. This multi-instrumental experience gives me a profound perspective on what holistic learning, composition, and developing one's own musical personality entail—a principle that was key in my own education and that I now apply to my teaching. I understand the challenges of mastering an instrument and how to guide my students to overcome limitations.

As a professional musician and teacher, I combine over a decade of experience performing live and in the studio (collaborating with more than five groups) with a solid teaching methodology. My instrumental specialties are piano, guitar, bass, and drums. My approach is not only technical but also practical, allowing me to offer comprehensive and professional musical training.

I have over 10 years of experience recording and performing in various genres: Jazz, Pop, Salsa, and Christian music. I've worked on projects ranging from film scores and Big Bands to Latin Jazz ensembles and Rock/Pop bands, which has given me a very broad musical perspective.

A highlight of my career is my participation as a pianist on the recording of an album and a song that were nominated for the Pepsi Music Awards in the Jazz category. This demonstrates my level of excellence and commitment to professional musical quality.

As a multi-instrumentalist, in addition to piano and keyboards, I also record vocals, guitars, bass, and drums. I am a graduate of the Royal College of Music in London, where I lived for 12 years. As well as my private lessons, I currently teach at Conservatoire of Barcelona to advanced pupils and at the British College of Gava to beginners pupils.

A young clarinetist and teacher, he graduated in Higher Education with a specialization in clarinet performance from the Conservatori Superior del Liceu, with Isaac Rodríguez as his teacher, and completed the first year of the Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education. I'm a musician, composer and producer from the UK with more than 20 yrs teaching experience.
I give classes for guitar, bass guitar, theory, composition, arranging, mixing and production in English with intermediate Spanish.

I have my own approach to teaching drawn from my own inspirational teachers and the experience of teaching, performing and recording for over 30 years.

I adapt to the needs and goals of the student, but a typical 1st year class for guitar would involve focusing on a variety of pieces in different styles and suggestions of any helpful technical exercises, reading, rhythm playing, expanding chord/harmony knowledge and supporting theory. In time I would include new techniques as required by the piece and style and improvisation/composition to follow the student’s interest.

I have developed an accelerated program with the goal of the student playing their favourite pieces as soon as possible. My constant aim is to find the right balance between student motivation and a thorough musical grounding, equipping the student for the future.
