I am a professional dancer with a disability.
When I became a mobility aid user I had to make alot of my own acts and training routines. Even when I got jobs with mainstream company's they didn't know how to adapt choreography to me and I would have to do this myself.
I work with a lot of disabled people and I am very skilled in creating dance classes/ routines or a training regiment for the dancer then to practice on there own.
I am trained in many different area of dance and work with Professionals/ aspring professionals, student dancers, hobbyists and those who are using dance to achieve a different goal. Examples of other goals include: weight loss, improving fitness, improving coordination, expressing themselves, improving confidence and others.

I can tailor classes to fit with any areas you are keen to work on, from injury rehabilitation to general toning and strengthening and build a personalised class and rapport with all my students.

Have you always wanted to learn how to dance but didn't know where to start? Do you have some dancing experience but need to work on your confidence or boost your skills / technique?

Come and dance with me! My classes are for adults of any age and ability who want to learn to dance, or for anyone who already has dance experience but wants to explore themselves more as a soloist. I aim to develop your confidence with movement and body awareness throughout our sessions, and also work on your freestyling, skills picking up choreography, or even help you choreograph something of your own if you wish!

My personal approach to dance is bringing fun to it! If you don't enjoy yourself, you won't continue to learn. Having fun is key to progressing, and we will get to improve technique and confidence along the way! My sessions are an hour long but 15 mins of those minutes are dedicated to warming up, cooling down and also discussing your day / week and your mental state before we start. This is so we can use the thoughts and feelings of the day as tools for our session to help release tension and boost your energy!

The meaty part of the session will focus on some techniques, movement and music exploration and short choreographed combinations.
