We are used to putting information into them and then having to throw it up and for me that is not studying or learning. Hello! I have had the opportunity to travel and work in the United States, Mexico, the Middle East, Turkey, North Africa, and France. I have always been interested in foreign languages and cultures. I have been teaching English for over 25 years. With this experience, I decided to create an educational platform offering a fun and innovative program to stimulate young people in this constantly changing world. During class, I emphasize the importance of speaking English as much as possible. I strongly encourage students to speak, read, and write in English. They only use their native language when they need to explain something or translate a word. This method encourages students to step out of their comfort zone. In the United States, I worked in elementary schools and universities. I have experience with individual classes, small classes, and large classes of over 25 students. I also developed a student exchange program. I felt this program was essential for opening young people up to the world. I worked directly with students, their parents, and their host families to organize study trips abroad lasting six months to a year. We worked primarily with Europe, Turkey, Russia, and Japan. Hello! I'm Nerea, I'm 23 years old and I'm from the north of Spain, from a city called Bilbao. This year I'm living in Dublin while working in a full time position in a creche. For example, a song about colors, numbers or body parts. Recognition activity (10 minutes): I use cards or pictures to introduce basic vocabulary words. For example, I show a picture of an animal and ask the children to say its name in the target language. I encourage the children to repeat the words after me and use them in simple sentences. Interactive games and activities (15 minutes): I organize fun games that reinforce the vocabulary taught. For example, a memory game where the child has to associate images with words, or a guessing game where I describe an object and the child has to guess what it is.
