Are you looking for a qualified English teacher from England? You have the possibility to improve your English while being supervised by your teacher. You can work on your grammar, writing, speaking and pronunciation. Are you desperate to pass your exams, prepare yourself for an interview or correct an essay? Or do you want to go to an English school or follow an English programme? The teacher is open to your requests.
Maybe you want to share your English lesson with some of your friends? It is possible to form a group at a reduced price, tell me with whom you would like to form a group. ;-) If not, the lessons are also individualised (private).

All levels are welcome (beginners to university students)! The teacher will be happy to receive you. Lessons can also be delivered online, students even learn better when lessons are given via Skype (the teacher takes notes for you online), technology is so cool! :-)

Do you have a question? Don't worry, the teacher will be happy to answer you. Lessons usually last 50 minutes.

Hello,

I am currently in my preparation year for the French teaching competitions (Capes and Agrégation en Lettres modernes). I have just completed my master's degree in comparative literature at the Sorbonne University (Paris IV), where my subject was “Contemporary rewritings of the myth of Persephone”. I have also validated a DESS in Teaching French as a second language (FLE).

I have been giving private lessons for four years now, allowing me to gain experience day by day. I have also given FLE lessons to students and adults as part of two language services (CREIPAC and Groupe LDL).
I give Grammar, English and French lessons to those needing academic support in these subjects.
Concerning my course in English, I completed a Preparatory Class for Grandes Ecoles (hypokhâgne/khâgne) which allowed me to acquire a C1 level in English. I can therefore teach the basics of language in production, expression and comprehension.

My lessons will adapt to the student's expectations. We will start from its difficulties to move towards new notions of grammar, conjugation and literary culture. These private lessons can be accompanied by homework help and in-depth study of the subjects covered in class.
I listen to the student and the family to understand the specific needs of each.

If you are searching for a private tutor to help you speak the "Queen's English" then look no further. I am a TEFL trained, London native, now living in Bordeaux for the last 4 years.

My methods are dynamic, fun, interesting and highly personalized depending on my students goals.

I teach both 1 on 1 face to face or via zoom/Skype if required as well as small groups.

I teach children, students preparing for exams and adults wishing to improve their spoken English or for other purposes such as exams, interviews or the need to be able to speak and understand the language for work.

My methodology/pedagogy come directly from personal mentors such as Tony Buzan (the creator of mindmapping), TEFL of course, many years of experience of coaching sports to native English speakers and foreigners. I have taught for 20 years from children (many with learning difficulties even autism) to celebrities, college & university students to groups of adults up to 80 years of age or so, individually and in groups of varying sizes.

I offer homework help in the following subjects: Mathematics, French, English, history/geography, SVT, physics/chemistry.

We will do homework for the following week, do course reviews in case of misunderstanding and prepare for assessments.

I am aware that it is sometimes difficult to motivate your child to start working. This is why I offer my help. Organization and regularity will be the keys that I will try to instill as much as possible.

Academic tutoring – From 4th grade to high school graduation | Adults welcome

Because we don't all learn in the same way, I adapt my teaching methods to each student, to their pace, their personality and their way of understanding.
My approach is playful, caring and rigorous: the goal is not just to do homework or memorize a lesson, but to understand, to develop good methods and above all to regain confidence in one's abilities.
My teaching is deliberately "out of the box": I like to step outside the traditional school framework, use concrete examples, create associations of ideas and find different ways to explain a concept when it does not go through the traditional method.
I support students from CE2 to Baccalaureate, as well as adults wishing to review some basics, progress or deepen their knowledge.
I can also support students with ADHD or learning disabilities. Please simply let me know before the first lesson so I can best adapt my teaching methods.
Each coaching session is personalized: together we identify strengths, difficulties and objectives, then we move forward methodically, without unnecessary pressure but with real requirements.
📍 Home lessons depending on the area
💻 Courses are also available via videoconference
Learning differently, understanding rather than reciting, and giving students back the pleasure of progressing.
