Basile, bassist and double bassist, started playing electric bass in 2001 at the age of 7 at IEFAR (European Institute for Rhythmic Arts Training) in Montpellier. He took lessons there until the age of 13 and then continued with a private tutor until he was 16. In 2012, he attended jazz workshops with pianist Pierre Coulon-Cerisier and continued to learn bass occasionally with bassist Alfred Vilayleck. It was in 2013 that he joined the jazz department of the ENM in Villeurbanne (Lyon) where he learned the double bass, and took lessons with musicians such as Pierre Baldy-Moulinier, Thierry Many, Gilbert Dojat.
