Each lesson is adapted to your level (music theory, guitar, orchestration)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Composition and orchestration open the door to a deep understanding of music—from the sound of a single note to the architecture of an entire symphony. In this course, you'll learn not only how to play, but also how to think like a musician and composer. Whether you are a beginner looking to gain a solid foundation on the guitar, or an advanced musician looking to explore harmony, arranging, and orchestration for ensembles or film music, this course is tailored to your personal goals. Through practical exercises, ear training, and creative projects, you'll develop your musical language, sense of structure, and artistic voice—connecting technique with imagination. My approach combines classical knowledge, modern composition tools, and a focus on musical storytelling to help you transform your ideas from a single instrument to a full orchestra. The guitar is an instrument of infinite richness—capable of expressing both the sweetness of an intimate melody and the power of a full orchestra. In this course, you'll learn to master the guitar as a means of personal expression, developing your technique, ear, and musicianship. Whether you are a beginner or already experienced, I will guide you step by step through the essential basics (posture, rhythm, chords, reading) to advanced techniques (arpeggios, improvisation, interpretation and arrangements). My approach connects instrumental practice with musical understanding, so you can not only play, but also understand and feel the music you create. Each lesson is tailored to your level and style—classical, modern, or creative.

Passionate student gives private lessons in Maths and PhysicsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Passionate student gives private lessons in Maths and PhysicsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I am a physics student at the University of Amsterdam where I started my Masters in Theoretical Physics in September 2023. Passionate about maths and physics since I was little, I plan to continue my university studies and do a doctorate, in the goal of becoming a researcher. But math hasn't always been easy for me. In 3rd humanity, I had great difficulty in math and I had to take private lessons from a great teacher. The classes not only helped me a lot, but also taught me to love math. Passing on my passion in an active way has become important to me, and I hope to be able to help other students in difficulty as I have been helped! During a private lesson, I am attentive, patient and I adapt to the rhythm of each person. At first we discuss the theory and I make sure that it is well understood by the student. Then, to learn math, practice is the key! I always try to give adapted exercises and correct mistakes together, because understanding your mistakes is the basis for progress. The way of teaching is as important as the content of the course, which is why I make it a point of honor to prepare my lessons in advance and to always be available to answer my students' questions. My courses are aimed at all humanities and university students who have difficulties in mathematics or physics, whether one-off or for longer follow-up.

♟️ Why take lessons? ► Are you a busy adult with limited time and don't know what or how to work on to progress in chess? ► Are you the parent of an ambitious child and do not know how to guide him in his progress? ► Are you a beginner player wishing to discover the game with a titled player, in a good mood? Then this announcement is for you and taking private lessons will save you a lot of time! Indeed, with my experience and my mastery of the game, I am able to: ► To establish a coherent and effective work plan adapted to your level, whatever it is. ► To identify your shortcomings very quickly and to find a remedy. ► Provide or direct you to resources that meet your needs. ► To flesh out the discovery sessions of the game with personal anecdotes or concerning its fascinating history. Overall, I am able to accelerate your progress in a fun and effective way. ♟️ Course of the first lesson: Ideally, the student sends me some parts of him as well as a brief description of his personal objectives before making contact. Then, during the first lesson, we get to know each other around an educational part. ♟️ General course schedule: From the second lesson, we begin the analysis of your games. I ask you to provide me with games that you have played from which I select the most didactic. I teach primarily based on my students' parts because lessons learned from personal experience stay longer and more easily remembered. However, I sometimes show famous and/or illustrative parts when it seems relevant to me to do so to support a point. After a few sessions, I have a very precise idea of the state of your knowledge and I am able to personalize the course according to your needs. From then on, I provide you with exercises and recommend resources that correspond perfectly to the aspect of the game that you must work on to progress as efficiently as possible. ♟️ Topics covered during the courses: My goal is to make you a complete player! I have accompanied several players from a beginner level to an advanced level (2000+), and I know the different steps to take to become a good player, as well as the methods that work to achieve this. Among the topics that we cover in the course and that I help you master are (more or less in order): ► Basic masts ► The importance of the material ► Simple mating patterns ► Simple tactical diagrams ► The 4 basic principles for a successful opening ► Elementary endings to effectively end a game ► Basic strategy: strong / weak side, development of a coherent plan at the exit of the opening, improvement of the pieces ► Candidate moves Then, for more experienced players: ► Advanced tactical diagrams ► A complete and effective opening repertoire, adapted to your style and your level ► Advanced endgames: Activity of the king, passed pawn, activity of the pieces, majority on a wing, etc... ► Advanced strategy: pawn structures, open file, the 7th row, attacking the king, weaknesses, strong squares, prophylaxis, reading the opponent's plan, evaluating a position, exchanging the right pieces, etc... ► Calculation ► Chess creativity ♟️ Classes with children: I adapt my course in order to capture their attention constantly, I ask them funny and relevant questions so that they retain the lessons easily. I make sure that they are participants in the lesson and not spectators. I generally end the lesson with a game against them where I expressly leave a few errors lying around, so as to create spontaneous didactic moments (sometimes with a hint!). A brief summary of the mistakes made during the game follows, which serves as a hook for the next lesson. Two of my students (with whom I have been working for 2 years) finished 1st and 5th in their respective age categories at the last Belgian youth championships. ♟️ Courses on the internet: For online lessons, I use Discord or Skype to chat and share my camera, as well as the lichess platform to analyze and show games or exercises. The latter has a tool allowing the teacher and the student to interact on the same chessboard in real time, and to show ideas using arrows and colored boxes. The student can find all the previous lessons at any time by consulting the work sessions archived on the platform. ♟️ Opening hours: Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. I am available in case you have questions outside of class, I am happy to answer them. I am flexible if ever a course had to be moved due to an unforeseen event. ♟️ Languages: Classes can be given in French, English and Dutch. ♟️ In summary: I am professional, pedagogue and available. You lose nothing by contacting me! Don't be afraid if you are a beginner, most of my students are.

Private lessons in Mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, ArabicTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I am a Master student in civil engineering with a degree in applied mathematics, I offer my services throughout Belgium and for all students who have difficulties or who want to break records in school. I have an experience of more than 3 years and a fairly variable methodology depending on the student. In my methodology I always want first to help the student to catch up with his classmates and teachers and then push him to go much further in his thoughts while having fun and without the slightest pressure. The course can be given in French, Dutch, English or Arabic, whether face-to-face or remotely. I give : ● Math (all) ● sciences (physics, chemistry, construction, dynamics, materials, hydraulics, geology, ..) ● IT (python, C, Java, matlab, office software, visualization software,..) ● Numerical analysis, Linear automatic ● Economics (basic notions, macro-micro economics) ● Arabic (Tome of Medina, literacy, writing, reading, "Fusha") And for primary secondary students: ● A mass of level exercises (0->university) ● variable learning methods ( -> memorization. -> visualization -> exercises -> interros and mock exams permanently and with a timing -> 1 big problem to solve per session)

I am very happy to have found a teacher like François-Jean for my very first encounters with a cello. Not only he is very competent as a musician and teacher he also is multilingual and I enjoy my lessons given in my mother tongue German. Until now I had 3 lessons with him all of them fruitful, focussed and funny at the same time. I can highly recommend him for every person interested in cello lessons in Brussels.

Paul is an excellent tutor and helped me to prepare for the numerical reasoning part of the EPSO exams. He is very patient and able to identify quickly the areas you most struggle with. He helped me to become more confident in the calculations I needed for my exam in only a few weeks and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a tutor in mathematics!

A very great first encounter with Norma and the harp as a new instrument for me! Norma has been absolutely spot on in understanding and responding to my very specific personal musical wishes. We agreed on a plan forward that is adapted to my needs. I am all over the moon and can’t wait to start my lessons with her!
