Chemistry, Physics, Math and Biology for English-, Dutch- and French- speaking middle school students
From 43.31 C$ /h
🤔 Are you in middle school and struggling with physics, chemistry, math, or biology? You're not alone — it can definitely feel overwhelming, especially when things move too fast in class.
😀 But sometimes, all it takes is clear explanations in a calm, supportive setting to make everything click. I’m here to help you figure out what’s getting in the way, walk you through the lessons so they actually make sense, and guide you step by step so you can tackle exercises with confidence.
😄 We can work in French, English, or Dutch — or even switch between them if that’s more comfortable for you. That’s especially useful if you’ve recently moved and your classes are in a language you’re still getting used to. Language shouldn’t be a barrier to understanding your subjects — and with me, it won’t be!

About Me
🔬 I love science so much that I studied it all the way to a PhD (and I’m never going to stop learning!).
🧪 I’ve worked in research labs for 8 years, both at universities and in industry, across 4 different countries: France, Canada, the UK, and the Netherlands.
😃 But what I enjoy the most is helping others learn and truly understand science. I love explaining things in simple words, and I have plenty of creative ideas to make them really easy to grasp.
💬 I’ve even taught science in 3 languages: in English and Dutch at Wageningen University in the Netherlands, and in French at Paul Sabatier University in France.
✨ So now, with my skills in science, languages, and teaching, I’m happy to help middle school students (age 11-15) with math, physics-chemistry, and biology — in whichever language they prefer: French, English, or Dutch!

No grammar or boring theory, only what you love. 🥳 Whether you are a just getting started or trying to unlock your full potential, the most effective way to learn to speak French is to have fun speaking French! 😀
I’m a French native speaker from France.
I lived and worked for one year in England and eight years in the Netherlands, where I also obtained a PhD. I became fluent in English and Dutch through conversations with native speakers in these languages, in private and professional settings. Those conversations taught me so much more than what I had learned in schools!
Now that I am back in France, I run my own business as a professional translator between English, Dutch and French.
So, I’m used to switching and finding bridges between these languages, including in business.
In our conversation lessons, we will talk about topics you enjoy and practice conversations for private or professional situations of your choice. And I will guide you on the way so that you keep learning.
I am NOT the right tutor for you if you want to:
❌ be told what to do
❌ follow structured lessons passively on topics you didn’t choose
❌ go through theory (grammar, conjugation...)
❌ know upfront what you are going to learn when
❌ receive ready-made exercises and homework
❌ prepare for an exam as your only goal
I am the right tutor for you and you will LOVE lessons with me if you want to:
⛵ engage in lessons that don’t feel like lessons
😀 learn to speak French by speaking French, regardless of your “level” (what’s a “level” anyway?)
🥐 speak French with a French native speaker
😍 speak about subjects of your interest; superficially or into depth (I have a PhD, Doctor of Philosophy – I love in-depth conversations and I ask questions)
🌎 prepare for situations of your interests; I can play many roles: recruiter, applicant, manager, employee, client, investor, salesperson, waitress, receptionist, doctor...
🧩 learn new words and sentence structures in context of our conversation
🧭 receive guidance in English or Dutch when you need it; I’m fluent in English and Dutch
💡 receive tips to improve your French – without being interrupted in the middle of your sentence
💪 embrace errors as opportunities to learn
😄 notice and enjoy your speaking progress
🚀 gradually become more fluent in French
Looking forward to receive a message from you!
