Conversation in Italian: Interactive Lessons for international students
Ciao a tutti!
I would love to help you practice and learn my mother tongue, Italian, and guide through conversations in different topics, whether you want to move to Italy or just speak a bit during your Roman holidays.
Actually, I love teaching languages because I love learning them myself. For me, learning a language requires patience, willingness and joy. I also believe that learning something new in Italian every day is better than learning too much in a single day. I also think that you must use every new word you learn, by interacting and speaking as much as you can.
For this reason, each of my lessons always includes all 5 skills according to the CEFR:
- Spoken Production: e.g. I encourage learners to introduce themselves and speak about their main interests without being interrupted.
- Listening: e.g. I integrate songs, interviews, lectures according to the learner's goals.
- Reading: e.g. articles, film reviews, parts of books and news.
- Writing: e.g. formal and informal letters and e-mails, personal accounts, journals.
-Spoken Interaction: I always spend time in conversation with the student, at the beginning and the end of the lesson, in order to improve her/his fluency and confidence.
I also encourage (but not force!^^) students to do exercises on their own too, so that they are more prepared for the following lesson. I am patient and comprehensive, and I organize my lessons according to the learners' interests and personal goals. From A2- B1 level onwards, I try to speak only in Italian.

Extra information
I start with the student's material. I always use a combination of material from different sources. Good speakers and headphones needed (for pronounciation and listening parts). I usually share a common document with the students, and sometimes add some Powerpoint slides.Location

Kaoru is wonderful! She prepared every lesson very well and provided me with great notes. I benefited a lot from these sessions, merci beaucoup !
She creates a text for each lesson based on my daughter's interests. And she is always patient. She is a very good teacher !
After obtaining my C1 Goethe Zertifikat, one Summer Course in German at LMU Munich and a one-semester exchange in FAU Erlangen Nuremberg, I would love to help you learn this complex and extremely rich language, whether you are learning for passion, preparing for a Goethe exam or want to practice your conversation skills.
I have with me my "Bible" (a German grammar book I used during Covid... yes, I was bored) and can share with you a variety of exercises, powerpoints and links to help you understand how to learn this language in a way that fits your learning speed, your need, your interests and personality.
I know German is hard, so why not learn it with someone who struggled with it as well, but who's now professionally working in Germany - talking and writing German every day?
Feel free to contact me anytime! Tschüß!
Hello everyone,
after successfully obtaining my French Baccalauréat and a Bachelor's Degree in Cinema (Licence) with High Honors, I am currently working at the Institut Français in Duesseldorf, where I did a seminar to become examiner for the French DELF tests. I also work with schools and promote this language to a young public, and therefore developed a high pedagogical quality during this last year.
I am therefore ready to help you in all your needs with this language, which can be quite tough sometimes (think about pronounciation and exceptions to the rules), and which I struggled myself to learn before obtaining a high professional level.
I can prepare you with strategies to understand the structure of the national test and help you successfully pass it, but I can also encourage you to "unblock" your language skills with chill conversation sessions, or more rigorous grammar explanation, while sharing with my suggestions to embrace this enriching culture (be it with films, books, music or art).
Looking forward to help you enjoy - and master - French!
à plus,
Kaoru

Italian soprano offers coaching of Italian Pronunciation for singersAs an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing.
Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing.
We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis.
We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them.
In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!

English and French as a second language, Italian for foreignersI teach English, French and Italian by taking in consideration all the skills required: listening, speaking, reading and writing with an attention to grammar and pronunciation as I start.
Then, it all depends on the student's need. We are going to work on something specific.
For example if you are a lawyer we are going to work on legal english, so here are some examples:
-listening: some trials or law procedures;
-speaking: giving out a speech;
-reading: working on specific words, summarize and preparing a speech;
-writing: preparing a specific legal document.

English Language and Linguistics (A level and UG) and Year Abroad dissertation help (Fr, Sp, It)In this course, you will learn a range of linguistic methods and learn the terms used for describing a specific aspect of language or phenomenon (lexis, morphemes, and 'telegraphic stage' to give a few examples). The course requires you to explore your own data using quantitative and qualitative analysis (eg: how frequently are slang phrases used? Are there new auxiliaries being created?). No historical linguistics or literature is involved, but language change or specific traits will be sampled via your own data collection (if this is what is demanded in your course).
As many students need to present a "year abroad" dissertation at University level (3rd year in the UK of a Modern Languages or Linguistics Undergraduate course) I can help you to research and structure your year abroad work, both in English (Linguistics) and Romance languages (French, Italian, Spanish). The topics that have arisen from recent discussions with students relate to French Caribbean writing, Italian resistance and reprisals in Rome (Fosse Ardiatine), and Spanish Etica franquista in films (among others).

Italian language lessons from a native speaker - any levelHello everyone!
I'm Giorgia and I come from Torino, Italy.
I offer my native knowledge of Italian to any of you, who wants to discover this beautiful language.
I teach for all levels, from very beginners to advanced speakers, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I can also help with university exams and school works/assignments.
Being a pianist and a piano teacher, I already have lots of experience with teaching and pedagogical approach with the whole range of ages.
The lesson is intended to meet the student needs: the focus can be on the grammar, conversation or literature. In case of a middle-level speaker, the lesson will cover all four language's abilities: listening, speaking, writing and reading. My suggestion of a well planned lesson is, for any level, to divide it into two parts: grammar first and then conversation (covering all the abilities mentioned above).
Thank you for your attention and looking forward to meeting you !!

Italian lessons. Italian lessons online or in person.- I'm a professional Italian teacher from Italy, now living in Rome. I have 10 years teaching experience. I am very patient and I love to make a relaxed and friendly class environment. I have qualifications and experience teaching at different levels and in different contexts. I can help the student to improve the oral, written, and comprehension skills. Most important is that each course is based on the needs, interests and availability of the student.
- The method is mainly what is called communicative, aimed at stimulating the student to speak immediately and put the focus on the functional aspect of the language. For beginners, I usually follow a specific program, I prepare a course and for each lesson I send students the files that I scan from the various books. Also the lessons can be essentially developed as conversations on specific subjects.
