I am a cello teacher so If you are looking for cello lessons in Luzern, I would be glad to meet you. It doesn’t matter if you are starting to learn the cello or if you never played it. Music can be fun to learn and explore and I would love to show you that during my lessons. I am fluent in German, Portuguese, Spanish and English. The lessons can have the duration of 30, 45, 60, 90 or 120 mins. They can also be online, at my location or at the students location. According to each person needs and preferences. The main goal of these lessons will be to help you reach your expectations as a cello player and as a musician, either you want to delve into improvisation, methodology or just prepare for an exam I do my best to adapt my lessons to your needs. Also along the way I hope I can help you discover new works or music genres and also help you understand musical notation. The most important part is that you improve and learn how to express yourself through music regularly and have fun with that knowledge. My lessons and teachings are never the same. I don’t follow just a method or a “Cello Schule”. I insert a lot of different subjects, games and improvisation during lessons to make them more creative and fun. Every student has their individual needs and my teaching focuses on that. In the end I just want you to feel good playing the cello, develop your ear, sense of rhythm and find a way to combine your daily life with music learning in a creative way! I hope to meet you soon! Kind regards, Catarina

Hello Everyone! My name is Daniel! I am a South African/Swiss Singer, Composer and Arranger with a Bachelors degree in music. As a singer, I can help you with fundamental techniques, vocal improvisation and performance - giving you the knowledge I have picked up from my time performing with multiple different types of ensembles as well as in the education sphere. In my opinion, the most important thing any student can have is a straightforward set of approaches and techniques to practice so that they can tackle holes in their technique and knowledge to help them achieve their goals. As your teacher, I will make it my mission to help you find these approaches in an easy and digestible way so you can have consistent and significant progress as you strive to become a better musician. As a Composer and Arranger, I can help you get to grips with Theory from the school to University level and share the Arranging and Orchestration techniques I've picked up during my university experience. Excited to work with you!

I teach adults and children of any age and any level, The core of my approach is: - Practice, practice, practice! Language proficiency is not knowledge but a SKILL. Every single theoretical topic should be practiced. For that reason, all my courses are full of practical tasks. - Having fun while learning. Only by having fun can your studying be effective. That’s why the practical tasks of my courses are interactive games. Another crucial point is 100 % clarity of the course theory — learning objectives for every course is made clear from the start. - Focus There is too much information nowadays. It’s more and more difficult to navigate through it. So it’s important to have high-quality curated information for your studies: precisely what you need to address your specific needs: a real language for real life. - Authentic language. I provide only genuine language spoken by people in real life. - A teacher’s mission is to inspire and to give direction, not just transfer knowledge into a student’s head. The best result is when students can learn by themselves, and when they are motivated to use every opportunity to master a foreign language. I will readily share strategies and resources for independently studying foreign languages. - Result vs process. A foreign language is not about good grades. Its real purpose is to improve your life. That’s why each lesson is another step toward your better life. No unnecessary information but precisely what you need to achieve your goals.
