I teach Turkish and English as a second language. I have the required high education with university diploma. Years experience on teaching my own language to foreigners and have full awareness of cultural differences. I use good materials, examples and sense of humor during the lessons. You see a helper/leader rather than a strict teacher since I prefer Communicative Language Teaching(CLT) approach and +1 method in language class.

I have a USA teaching license and a Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Inclusive Education (Grades K-6 and Students with Disabilities) from the State University of New York at Fredonia. My experiences include teaching at primary international schools in Belgrade, Serbia for 2 years and 3 years at international schools in The Hague, Netherlands. I have worked at two IB primary schools. Alongside teaching at international schools, I have 8 years of experience teaching English. Lessons are provided to children and teenagers. Lessons are customized to the learning needs of your child. Whether that be learning English for the first time or practicing improvement of speaking, reading, comprehension, pronunciation, listening, writing, grammar, etc. Lessons can be aimed towards learning a topic such as food, animals, sports, emotions, and more.

For children who are fluent English speakers, tutoring can be given to further excel in particular areas. Subjects that interest the student such as science, history or world topics can be incorporated into the lesson to broaden their knowledge. Support can also be provided in learning organizational skills, research, and mini projects for older children. I am available to help with studying, homework, or school projects. For online learning, I use a variety of platforms, websites, educational games, and e-books to reach the learning goals of my students. Additional homework can be provided if requested.

My name is Louis, I am a 23 years old and am a native English speaker. Before The Netherlands, I have lived in the UK for 16+ years; all of my school education has been in the English taught British school system. This has helped clients in particular, with children in a British school here.

I have designed my classes with the aim of building the basic skills required in holding conversations, succeeding in an English speaking environment but also teaching students who have an advanced level but require extra help (often with the technical side, for example the rules surrounding tenses and other grammatical points).

In English speaking, we usually don't say the word "must". Must is very formal and uncommon unless you're talking about rules ("Passengers must check in and out") or making a confident guess ("You must be Tom!"). Otherwise, must is very old fashioned. Instead, we say "have to" or "need to". In 1965, the Queen said "I must go to the lavatory". Everyone in the 21st century says "I have to go to the toilet." Knowing the differences between formal and informal English is important so you use the right words in the right situations! A native English teacher is the best person to help you with this.
