A LEVEL CLASSES - Psychology, Sociology & Politics (revision or covering new material)

I offer classes on History, Geography, and Political Science, with over 11 years' of experience in these subjects, both professionally and academically. I hold Bachelor's Degrees in both History and Political Science (from the University of Florida), as well as a Master's in Political Science, specifically European Politics (from KU Leuven). I have extensive experience in a wide range of historical and political subjects and have always had a keen interest in history and the social sciences. Additionally, previously I have been a journalist (dealing with Competition Law) and currently am an editor working on a wide variety of subjects for organizations such as the UNHCR and Goethe Institut, among others. I am capable of teaching and lecturing on numerous historical and political events and periods in history, with myself having specialized in European history, American history, African history, as well as the Medieval period and Antiquity.

I am eager to help young people feel confident when writing sociology essays. I will place an emphasis on deconstructing the questions students are given by encouraging them to reword the question to offer a different perspective on it. In addition, the main aim of a sociology essay is to convince the reader more and more of the argument you have claimed in the introduction. I want to help students do this by helping them follow the PEAL structure, i.e. Point, Evidence, Analysis, Link back to question. I have found this a very effective and coherent way of structuring an essay. I have studied Sociology for 7 years now, at AS/A Level, Undergraduate Level and now at MSc level at LSE. I was awarded First-Class Honours in my undergraduate as well as 'Best Dissertation of the year' by the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. I am seeking a potential career in academia so I truly feel passionate about engaging with the lesson plans on this platform and helping students feel confident in their essay writing.

I am a Doctor of Psychology and researcher. The course module is adapted to the student. The summary will be communicated during the first lesson. I teach you to speak and/or write with an approach to the sciences of political communication, international relations, social and human sciences while convincing the person(s) in front of you with several negotiation techniques. ▪️ Political communication is about the creation and exchange of ideas and opinions between citizens, public officials, political institutions, and related entities, such as the media. It includes discourse throughout the political process in local, state, national, and international political systems, as well as how political information can be exploited for political ends or to achieve political goals. People with a background in political communication may work in policy advice, foreign service, market research, public relations, journalism, and digital media, community organizing, lobbying, political campaigning, or other related fields. ▪️ The techniques used will improve your level of confidence in your public presentations and storytelling. ▪️ BUT! in order to achieve your goal you must master public speaking which is the process or act of giving a speech in front of a live audience. Public speaking is generally understood to be formal, face to face, speaking from a single person to a group of listeners. ▪️ Based on the student’s request, this course may also include some skills in Marketing, Promotion, Digital Optimization, and SEO, where you will earn: • An integrated digital marketing strategy based on your own organizational context. • Skills to effectively analyze and leverage data to make breakthrough data-driven decisions. • A future perspective on marketing and an overview of how to use emerging digital channels and technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and chatbots, within your organization. • Accept the challenges and opportunities of disruptive technology in your digital marketing strategy.

If you need help with any Psychology or Chemistry, this is the class for you. I have other areas of knowledge, such as Mathematics and Physics, so just ask and I may be able to tutor you in those areas too. This is only for students at A-level or below. Furthermore, this is not a counselling service, I can teach you about Psychology, but I am not qualified to assist with any psychological issues that you may have.

In these sessions I will help you to gain a better understanding of the content you are learning, as well as, help you to understand your assignment topics and how best to answer them by aiding you in building your critical thinking and essay writing abilities so that you can achieve the best possible results. Passionate about history and geography, I offer dynamic courses tailored to each student, from middle school to high school. My goal is to make these subjects lively, concrete, and accessible, giving meaning to the programs while effectively preparing students for assessments and exams (brevet, baccalaureate, etc.). This class offers personalized instruction in philosophical and/or sociological theory, suited both for students seeking academic support and for individuals with a general interest in a philosophical topic. Sessions are designed according to the student’s goals, whether it’s clarifying course material, preparing written assignments, or exploring theoretical texts independently. I am currently completing a Master of Arts in Philosophy. My areas of specialization include ancient philosophy, early modern philosophy, and phenomenology. I also hold a background in sociology, which allows me to offer interdisciplinary approaches to social theory and critical thought. Sessions can be focused on specific authors or movements (e.g. Plato, Spinoza, feminist theory), or organized thematically around concepts such as love, beauty, perception, or subjectivity. The goal is to foster rigorous but accessible understanding, with attention to both conceptual clarity and historical context.
